Excellent Meatloaf reference when the fenders fell down!
The afternoon breeze knocked them down and it wasn’t planned. If they were painted I would have been a little bummed but at the end of the day they’re race car parts I’m not trying to win a riddler award with the car.
I enjoy your videos! I think I watched some of your 4l80e content while I was in struggle town building one. Keep up the good work
Whoa, 29 pounds less! That's impressive. Cool you got the proper 64 parts. One step closer
Yeah one step at a time. Im having to wait my turn but when it's my turn it should come together quickly I hope.

What up Browski!
Gonna look good!
It will be weird to see it as a 64 again. It’s had the 65 fenders on it for a while now so I’ll have to get used to the flat front again. I like the 64 front better than 65 but that’s just me.
💣💣 that's going to be a big weight savings!
We had glass before but for replacing the same parts we will save a little weight. The big weight saving will be the tube front end. We will probably cut significant weight out of the front of the car.
Good progress! I'm sure with your talent and drive you will be successful with this rebuild. Patience,Grasshopper : ) At least the weather is a bit cooler. Still have to get through September. It will be interesting to see how the fiberglass parts work into your project. The lighter weight should be a great benefit. Always enjoy your segments. Thank you!
The front end was fiberglass last time just a bit heaver looks like. We will just have to make suer everything is attached well this go round.
Fiberglass ftw I think my one piece and hood all together is like 60 lbs
Yeah that’s pretty wild. I’m going to have to attach this hood good so it stays on. It’s much lighter then my old one.
@@Burndown 10 dzus is what I’m going with
GMsports is there in SOCAL. Check with them on the trim ect you need if you can't find it. They have some huge yards down there.
I need the headlight bucket and the grill piece still so I’ll check them out. Thank you
@@Burndown no problem. Good luck. I know that's a hard one to find trim for.
👍👍👍
I would like to get creative so I can take the fenders off at the track without too much fuss if I want but we’ll see.
gall danged pro mod. LOL
It had a fiberglass front end last time as well. They are actually cheaper than buying sheet steel parts too. The Maliboom 2.0 should be pretty cool I hope.
