I noticed that Petersburg Virginia appears to have a historic district that looks pretty nice (at least on Google). Would you consider doing a video of “Steve on Scene” from there someday. I think it could be interesting to watch and could give viewers from away a real sense of the place. Not sure how you will feel about the idea but I figure no harm in asking. :-)
Great idea and something I've thought about. It's in the plans. Probably start with "The Battle of the Crater". Civil war battle during the siege of Petersburg. The old section and hopefully Pocahontas Island. Lots of history there. Going to hit a lot of the local Civil war sites this year and the historic parts of Hopewell. Hopefully this fall I'll get to the Petersburg stuff maybe sooner. Thanks and take care. Steve

Yep, we hear you Steve! My daughter is going to in-state university right now. We saved up for 2 years of in-state tuition. Cash-flowed 2 years community college…. We eat left-overs and no fancy vacations so we can pay for it…while someone with a degree in history can go to Europe on student loans then have it forgiven. What’s next their mortgage too?
My daughter had a roommate that borrowed every nickle and she had out of state tuition prices also. Talk about getting in over your head. Try being 21-22 years old and starting out in your adult life with $100k in debt. We were fortunate and only ended up owing about a years tuition. People just ain't thinking. Letting them off the hook just hurts the rest of us and teaches them the wrong things. Just doesn't seem right to me. Thanks. Steve
My golfing name was Dr. Hook. I would hit it straight by accident. Haven't played in decades but spent many a summer on a local course as a kid. Dad was a big time golfing fan. I did a lot of caddying for him. Take care. Steve
It's a private club only members and guests are allowed to play. Beautiful course though. The tournament is the only time the public is allowed on the course. The winner of the tournament gets to play there any time for life. They become an honorary member when they win. It started back in the 30's only rime it wasn't held was for WWii. They used the course for raising cattle for the beef. We went on a practice day. loved it. Thanks for watching. Steve
I understand people are having it rough but they signed the note not me. They knew what they were doing at the time and what it meant. Just doesn't seem right to let some not pay when others did what they were supposed to do and payed it. Take care. Steve
This is like the second or third time he's done that. The money has to be paid back from somewhere. Seems like every time the government wants to stick somebody it's the "Average Steve". Most of us are having a rough time as it is. Take care. Steve
I can't tell if you are serious or not. I cannot name 1 single policy that Biden did that is "good". So-called "Bidenomics" is a failure. Interest rates, gasoline and other commodities are at all time highs. Crude oil is at $83 a barrel and will probably go higher. Biden is a joke, and I voted for him so I have to apologize for that. I am truly sorry. I am not the biggest Trump fan; however, he has my vote. I also donate $100 per month to Trump 2024. We cannot take 4 more years of incompetent Biden leadership.
None of them do everything I like but this and that mortgage thing really tick me off. I just can't see where this helps anybody. Everybody else has to pay their loan and they get taught a bad lesson, "I don't have to be accountable for anything I do". It's a bad situation all around.Take care. Steve

It took me 10 years to pay off my student loans at 7% interest. It pisses me off that people don't take responsibility for their actions.
