MWO Build & Skills : LPPC Urbanmech with MAGShots

- With the March patch dropping with so many new toys, it was time to revisit some of the builds to see if they can be improved. Sure there are the new meta builds but thought I'd revisit some of the older classics.
While probably not optimal, the additional boost to damage due to the MAGShots is nice on this build.

Yeah, he got castrated early and the team pretty much left him alone till the end of the match. - BrioS
Good comment on effective/meta vs fun. I'm having a great time with the new weps, though some are clearly better than others. Looking at you plasma cannons and proto ACs.
Funny how we now have a ballistic that sounds more pew-pew than the actual pew-pew. 😂

I was in that Tourmaline drop, it's always nice to watch a match from another point of view :D
Yeah, that was an interesting match. I often forget I'm not a Snurbie (I prefer that to this build tbh) and overcommit at short range.

Always loving an Urbie vid :) I wonder how this would work on the Arrow with snubz.
Oh, Arrow with 2 SnPPC and 6MAGShot is very strong. I honestly prefer the LXPL + LMG Arrow but the pinpoint of the MAGShot version is very nice. Might make a vid on it soon once I can get some time to play. - BrioS
@@ClanBRxV I have seen your vid on Arrow with LXPL+LMG and it was amazing, but another with this magshot would be a great idea. "Time to play" is a term unknown to me :D
@@sanvean4601 I've ran it three times now I think and it's very effective. It's also a lot of fun and I'd love to see a more experienced player run it.
I can relate to the "Advanced Zoom" commentary.
Have you considered getting a larger monitor?
I normally wear glasses irl but when I game, I don't. That doesn't help either. 😅
Anyway, jokes aside, I don't really wanna spend too much on a monitor. My desk space is limited so my 27-inch is ok, any bigger and it gets a big odd. My monitor is dying though and has horizontal lines all over so probably get a new one sooner rather than later... - BrioS

can run this with two snubs instead and that’s also a good configuration
Yeah, I actually prefer 2 Snubs over 3 LPPC but didn't want to strip armor/engine for the tonnage needed. In fact, in these matches I played this Urbie like a Snub-urbie and didn't really utilise the extra range of the LPPC. - BrioS

anyone know if the mg ammo quirk will be extended to magshot? really needed for lights.
Ammo quirks will be coming in the April patch. Full details have been posted in the Cauldron Feedback discord in the official-cauldron-leaks channel. 😁 - BrioS

No lah, light mechs are not my speciality and these games I just contributed and didn't carry. Still a fun build though. - BrioS
i know your argument is hmg's do more dps but mg's dont cut through armor like the mag shot and ap gauss, they need to be nerfed they should weigh a ton each, the IS hmg weighs a ton so why would anyone take a hmg when they can get more damage per ton and range from mag shots? you guys keep making light mechs stronger and stronger.
