Joshua Mitchell is great. I love his book American Awakening. It's a great book. It's one of the two or three best books I have read about modern American politics.
All the people who say the right is fighting "cultural Marxism" need to understand what Prof. Mitchell is saying. The right, as he says, has its "artillery" focused in the wrong direction. He helps us get the aim right.
