Clear nail polish stiffens them up nicely. Made earrings out of this used the nail polish and they hang great.

Hi Jill! I love this idea!! I will definitely be making some for myself and also as gifts. I had a thought on the one you stiffened with floor wax...What about using Modge Podge? From what I understand it dries clear so it wouldn't dull the pretty beads. I think I might give it a try and see what happens. Thank you for another great tutorial!!! :)

Hi Jill, love your videos. Thanks for sharing these with us. How many firepolish beads do you need to make the tree? I also wanted to add that you can use the smaller tree for a cute earring set. The small ones would make quick and cute Christmas gifts. Again, thanks for all your great videos.

I’d like to make the smallest tree as I have a lot of 11/0 delicas. But. I’d like shiny ornaments on the tree so what would I use ? I’ve got some teeny tiny Swarovski bicones. Can’t remember the exact size. Would they work ?

    Hi, Jill.
I read that you can also use nail polish to stiffen the brick stitch. What are your thougts on that?
