I'm gay and honestly i'm okay with having a pride month but we shouldn't be obnoxious and force it on people like we do. Honestly the only thing i felt when going to my city pride parade was shame. The "music" was horribly loud hurting both the animals and the old folks who normally live here, the street was trashed and the whole thing felt forced, like, i legit felt like a douchebag.
I honestly get what you mean. Not to mention these parades are so sexual, people there get drunk and do things they really shouldn't be doing out on the street especially when there are children around. I understand why pride parades are important, and I'm all for it. I just really wish there was more control and more rules. It's not a gay club marching down the streets and it shouldn't be. It's just a march for celebration of equality. I just wish pride parades went back to that definition.
