Short strafe glide + heat rises montage. Trying to main the build but having a hard time getting used to regular strafe glide but if it becomes legit I'll share the new fragments.

@@2CHiLLED. Snap-cancelling + Icarus Dash. Slide -> jump -> super (uncharged) with full snap melee energy -> dash. It's a form of animation cancelling.

Can you do this on console? It looks sick, but I’m not sure if it takes scroll wheel or higher frames to be able to build momentum properly
Neither scroll wheel nor high frames are required to slide cancel. You need to have either snap, arcane needle or penumbral blast charged, then slide, jump and hit super button, when super is not charged. On solar you can pair it with icarus dash and heat rises+strafe glide for insane momentum like in the video. Not sure if the movement is possible on roller, because the inputs could be too tight
@@isolu9386no I know how to snap cancel, have done it a decent amount, just a lot of times certain things just don’t work properly on console or with lower frames for movement. Like I put in the exact same inputs, but you just can’t really build momentum on console from my experience very much. But I’ll try this

Are you manually doing snap cancels, or macros?
Macro.
Even though is not hard to do manually, when playing at a high level and you have to make a decision in a split of a second, not using a macro could cost you.
I do it manually when moving around and getting into fights but once I am engaged, a one button press to move and shoot is too much of an advantage not to use
@@UnknownGaming.. I manually input snap canceling all the time and after being engrained into your muscle memory it's not hard to do in a split second decision
It still kills me that bungie has allowed every class but Hunters to be the most mobile despite mobility being their main stat. I truly hope they nerf the crap outta Titans and Warlocks movment tech because this is BS.

he uses militias with prox nades, slideways and auto loading for any possible situation where he needs it
He has recommended militia's over any other gl because you want autoloading for obvious reasons and slideways can be used to shoot the gl again if needed in a pinch
