I've been loving prog music for a long time, Frost* is one of the best representatives of this direction. I found out about them about two months ago and immediately fell in love with this music. According to the elements, it's air and fire, so it's close to me. The dramaturgy of Frost* music is close to such groups as Genesis, Marillion, maybe Jethro Tull, partly Yes and others. Thank you so much for being there, it helps from our darkness, I hope it will end very soon.
Holy shit, I just looked at your uploads, that's a prog goldmine, thanks for all you have uploaded. Hyperventillate and Black Light Machine are there too :D
John Mitchell's backup guitar is... a Squier Strat? YESSS!!!!! Budget guitarists everywhere, rejoice. John is amazing on any instrument, but those Squier Strats are great guitars for the money! I'd LOVE to hear the story behind that Strat.
His main guitars are Cort and they're dirt cheap. On the Cort website he's holding a G250 which is about 250 euro new. And I absolutely love his solo sound.
Many top musicians are using Squire Strats nowadays! Francis Dunnery, Mike Rutherford and our very own John to name a few. John loves a cheap guitar. He uses several Cort guitars including the one at the start of this clips and also the PRS SE budget range. There are videos of him using Epiphone Les Pauls as well. I have a USA Fender Strat which I love but I also have a Mexican Fender Strat, a Squire Classic Vibe Telecaster and a Squire Affinity Strat. I think that the Squires are fantastic guitars.
Excellent performance musically, but the vocals seem to take a back seat here. Hard to make them out most of the time. If they could fine tune that up a little bit, it would be much more effective. But Frost* are an incredible group of musicians and this was enjoyable to watch despite the mixing sound problems. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! It was a superb gig. I was fortunate enough to see them the previous evening in Bath, but didn’t film anything, as they were filming their official DVD. I will be buying it as soon as it is released.

Its his brother Nathan actually 😊. Plays guitar for Level 42 and bass here. Tremendous musician IMHO.

Did Craig forget his shirt at home?

It's recorded on somebody's phone - you can't make out anything! Buy the DVD when it comes out..... 😉
Wear a headset for better sound clarity

Thank you so much - I had a ticket but ended up having to play a gig myself that night. I was gutted to miss it.
