Aren’t you wrong and is it not more more like NYC taxes are paying for them? If that’s what the majority wants there, it’s their decision to do it or not to do it with their money. We call this democracy within federal states here in Germany, where I’m from. A 2nd layer, that enables states to decide some things in topics that only affects themself more independently (like migration). But idk how it works in the U.S., maybe other states can influence others states decisions more, even if it’s something that’s not directly affecting them that much.
As a Canadian, I don't understand why Americans don't provide permanent housing to migrants. It would be much cheaper in a long run. Please, Americans do better.

Seniors are not doing so well either. I read every day of seniors in their 80's and older being kicked out of homes they've lived in for many years because of one reason or another. Imagine your grandmother living on the streets at 93 years old, just insane what is going on.

Kinda pisses me off when they are living and eating for free, good food, but they complain like that lady and say the food isnt good. Thing is it was our goverment/allies that corrupted their nation to take their resources. Venezuela has the 3rd largest gold reserves in the world yet its people couldn't afford toilet paper. They were pushed also into the US to cause chaos n division and to add to our now unplayable debt. @IvyPlans if your not sure do some research, Nyc has some of the biggest affordable housing areas like QueensBridge or Harlem projects and brand new ones are always going up where you get picked by lottery.

I work in hotels, I am a director of housekeeping in a hotel in times square, few blocks away from the Row. I am born and raised in NYC. To own and operate a hotel does cost a lot of money, however, allowing migrints to board your hotel is not the solution. They will ruin the hotel and if they ever leave, hotels such as the ROW, the Watson, will have their brand tarnished. They will need to domilish the hotel and rebuild, as all its known for now and for the rest of time is a dirty migrant hotel. #Trump24 #Closetheboarder

I migrated legally from Cuba when I was 8yrs old. My parents waited for 4 years to be able to legally come to US. My father had one family member that lived in FL and god bless him because only he helped us when we arrived. No free hotels, debit cards, food etc. In August it will we our 21 year anniversary of living in the states. I went to school, assimilated and now have a wonderful career. Many of these migrants are not here because of political persecution which is asylum that they claim. It is simply not fair for those who waited to come here legally and for those who are still waiting.

I watch Cash Jordan a native NYer. These hotels get more money being a shelter than operating as an actual hotel. Every year, I would see *piles of dorm furniture* on the sidewalk *to be picked up by the trash service!* Most looked like it was perfectly fine to continue using. Dressers night stands, closets, all thrown away, as if disposable. I always thought they could use these pieces in homeless shelters and the starter homes when people transition from homeless to becoming renters or homeowners. The US has a bad habit of *wasting things.* There will come a time when there will be limited resources to re-make these _"disposable furniture items"_ (and damn near everything else), and limited fund$ to purchase items.

We need to restructure our social safetynets and reduce them. A huge majority of people getting government assistance through the hundreds of programs weve created dont need the help, and if they do they dont need it to the extent that there getting it. We need to cut these unnecessary programs and reduce taxes. Less taxes will equal more money on your paycheck which will make up for some of the loss youll have from government assistance and itll also incentives people to get a job. Its ridiculous how much of a socialist style country weve become.

I work in hotels, I am a director of housekeeping in a hotel in times square, few blocks away from the Row. I am born and raised in NYC. To own and operate a hotel does cost a lot of money, however, allowing migrints to board your hotel is not the solution. They will ruin the hotel and if they ever leave, hotels such as the ROW, the Watson, will have their brand tarnished. They will need to domilish the hotel and rebuild, as all its known for now and for the rest of time is a dirty migrant hotel. #Trump24 #Closetheboarder

People in NY dont see the increase of migrants because NY is so diverse. But if you go to Chicago, there are neighborhoods where it's now heavy latinos in predominantly white or predominantly black areas. I migrated legally from Cuba when I was 8yrs old. My parents waited for 4 years to be able to legally come to US. My father had one family member that lived in FL and god bless him because only he helped us when we arrived. No free hotels, debit cards, food etc. In August it will we our 21 year anniversary of living in the states. I went to school, assimilated and now have a wonderful career. Many of these migrants are not here because of political persecution which is asylum that they claim. It is simply not fair for those who waited to come here legally and for those who are still waiting.

Every year, I would see *piles of dorm furniture* on the sidewalk *to be picked up by the trash service!* Most looked like it was perfectly fine to continue using. Dressers night stands, closets, all thrown away, as if disposable. I always thought they could use these pieces in homeless shelters and the starter homes when people transition from homeless to becoming renters or homeowners.

Less taxes will equal more money on your paycheck which will make up for some of the loss youll have from government assistance and itll also incentives people to get a job. Congestion plan? WTF . . . So if your job is in that city, you have to PAY $15 each DAY, just to go to your job? That is INSANE !!! No way.
That plan is going to hurt tourism and actual domestic migration from Americans. Why would anyone ever want to visit that city if they tax you just for entering?
If you drive into the city, you will pay. Even delivery trucks will have to pay higher fees multiple times a day and they don''t have the option of using public transportation. It's crazy!!!!
