EXPLORING BANNING STATE PARK MN | Historic Banning State Park in the Winter | EXPLORE MINNESOTA

Friends I had never heard of Banning State Park until recently, and I decided that it was time to explore!
Banning State Park is a historic park, with history of railroads, rock busting, waterfalls and rapids! I had no idea that Minnesota had rapids that were worth going through.
My real reason for discovering Banning State Park was because I stayed at a place called Getaway House, which was only about 15 min from the park in Kettle River.
Since it was winter, I wasn't super prepared, and panned poorly I did not bring any micro cleats so. really couldn't explore much while I was here, but that just means I have to come back when all the ice melts!
