TieBreak - FINAL (US Open) - Expert (EA6) / Calendar Slam Achieved / Maria Sakkari

FINAL US Open / Sakkari vs Swiatek - 6-1 6-2 (Expert)
Hi all, I’m a casual gamer that mainly plays FM, but after finding this gem of a game I’ve decided to upload some TieBreak content for viewing.
This will be following my progress in my first Career Tournament playing on the Expert Difficulty (I’ve progressed from easy, to now dipping my toes into Expert).
So for me this is quite a challenge, and I’m finding this at about the right level for my amateurish skills. So my game style tries to keep things simple, serve & volley.
I’m also going through the career mode with the Greek Goddess Maria Sakkari. Upon full release, my plan is to create my own player and play the men’s career mode.

So this was a repeat of the Wimbledon final vs Swiatek. I started off really well in this match, taking the game to Iga and in a convincing first set we took it home 6-1.
However in the second set, there was signs Swiatek was starting to control the rallies a lot more. Appearing to increase her physicality I was having to scramble a lot more in rallies.
She was a lot more clinical at times, but as I kept remaining competitive in points her unforced errors kept me in a lot of the games.
It got to the point where I was 5-1 up and serving for the title, but I couldn’t get any winners passed her and unforced errors at my end gave her the game. But I was able to break back immediately, which saw us win the second set 6-2 in the end.
This completed my 4 grand slams for the year, but I had won the Aussie Open on Easy level as I was getting the hang of the game and its difficulties at that point.
