I can't believe my luck...I've just found a dolls house in a skip! It's got stairs and a dresser...I'll be on your channel a lot more now! 😊 thanks for the encouragement!
That was a great find 👌 I found mine (4 storey Georgian house although I suspect its a copy of a dolls house emporium one as there's a few subtle differences) for £21 on ebay - had quite a drive to fetch it but was worth the trip. I'm just about to start wiring but will hopefully be attempting some of Julie's furniture for the kitchen soon and have already done things like the baskets, knitting and shopping bags and such. Have fun with yours - I'm quite enjoying myself making things for it.
Julie, I love your tutorials and all your techniques. I have a question, What are the dimensions of your dollhouse rooms? I know the hallways are smaller. What are their size also. I am building a hotel model room by room and mine look very large. I am working in 1:12 scale but want to fit a fireplace and double bed in each room. Having trouble getting the rooms the right size. Thank you.
Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying the tutorials. Have a look at my list of videos, where you'll find one where I share my dolls house measurements - I posted it at the start of January. :)
@@jillmayo I have a georgian 4 storey house and chose it because the hallways are large enough to decorate almost as a room although they are a tad smaller. My rooms are long and deep - about 16 inches deep by around 8 wide with the hall an inch or so narrower. The only thing I find though is it would be helpful if they were maybe slightly wider and a bit shorter, ie more square. Don't know if that helps any? My ceilings are just under 8inches too although that can make a chandelier a tad low.
Absolutely perfect, very tasteful and chic,no outlandish colours, i love it 10/10
Perfect piece for this room. Looks fabulous. 👏👏👏👏

Thank you. I thought it was just me with those type clamps tips moving on me
It's quite irritating isn't it! :)
