He was attacked by three guys in 1973 who purposely kept kicking him in the throat took 6 months to get his voice back but lost most of his singing range a loss for the world but such a loss for a man with an amazing voice he of course was never the same-dear, wonderful Brian Connoly beautiful both inside and out!

Too bad there isn’t video to this but I do love hearing his voice too. 🥰 There is just something so magnetic about him. 💙 I wish things hadn’t gotten so bad for him and he could have lived a longer healthier life but that was not to be. 😢 Like he said in an interview, “It wasn’t all bad. There were fun times too.”
When he had these icy phrases, so honest and sincere that they were as brutal as a punch to the stomach, you would have caressed him and hugged him...He would say these things with a smile so sweet that it hurt...

yeah it left us high and dry till they did the hammersmith gig in 78 and they did one of there best concerts of all time

should have done more albums with brian less touring might of helped him his vocals in 1980 were still brilliant check out solo single lady
