That fat and monke looking doiima is rival with THE shimano, the one that has such power over majima, he not only feared shimano, but also hated and admired his boss all the same. Majima goro is known as the mad dog of SHIMANO after all. Also bear in mind before shimano being his rival, shimano ALSO used to be the underling of dojima along with kazama. Such a man not only become independent from dojima but also gets big enough to be his rival. Its like kiryu vs majima. Now imagine such a man, who gathered all these great underlings, including the likes of nishiki, kiryu, kashiwagi, and with such an awesome rival like shimano. Imagine that man as a young uprising yakuza at his prime. If you ask me, that is totally a main line plot material for yakuza -1. Heck i would play it if there a dojima series as mc yakuza -1 -2 -3. Its then not a surprised that he got such a beautiful, faithful wife. Ofc dojima is still ugly as fuk. So YES after all that ranting, daigo is definitely sera's son. Lol
Dude was just an annoying little shit back in Yakuza 0. And now he is one of my favorite main characters (one of my favorite characters in general) and a badass leader I have immense respect for.
