The rollover was built by Nottingham, U.K. who were purchased and renamed to Eagle Flyers. So your research is correct. Also the ride isn’t defunct, the ride still operates just with a standard Miami bench seat.

In a way, i wish there was a theme park that was dedicated to continuously add onto the park as they continue to add new and unique rides to its park. There are so many incredible rides out there, but you have to travel all over the world to find them. It would be incredible if each country had a park with all the unique rides in one place.

someone should do this as a sort of interactive amusement park museum where you can ride all the rides. and like you said, constant expansions. would be an absolutely HUGE park. would likely have roads to take golf karts on to make getting around the park easier. I bet they'd also put in all sorts of food options as well as a hotel in the park.

im a ride operator at six flags st louis getting trained for the evolution (xcaliber, as we call it). its only running half its cars. its just so old and being the only one still standing gives us a hard time keeping it in tune, but by the sheer fear of guest reaction if we remove it, shes still going! on average, we have two downtimes DAILY for guest illness. being right next to our turkey leg stand and our spinning coaster, Pandemonium, really doesn't help. does matter though. every ride operator will still recommend it! i know i do!

The one in the video was called Stargate.
Stargate was a movie and tv show that involved a lot of Egyptian mythology. Basically the Egyptian gods were actually aliens that came to Earth via Stargates and in the movie the humans rediscovered the Stargate and how to use it.
That’s the gist from my shaky memory. But the desert is because of the Egypt connection.

I would definitely ride the Chaos Pendle, The Evolution and the Speed 32 cause I like high altitude and high intensity thrill rides!
    Edit: I like the music❤

Living in France, I've had the chance to do the Contact and the Challenger at the same fair. The Challenger is fun. The Contact is more intense because of the strengths that keep pushing and pulling you, plus it spins really fast, which can make you dizzy.

I'm not a fan of thrill rides or big roller coasters 😞 I like gentle or mild rides more, like carousels, teacups, Wave Swinger style rides, and for just a little thrill, but not too much, kiddie or family coasters (Not very fast, no parts that go upside down or tilt you sideways. I don't really like spinning either 😞)

I have ridden Soaring Timbers and it does seem less intense than how these other ones look (which was also reported by Coaster College in Flat Ride of the Week). Also as a female who is 6 feet tall, it wasn't exactly a comfortable experience, I didn't fit super well.

    • @Copperthefox

As a 6 foot guy I can agree with it being not too comfy but I will say it’s not a bad ride and laid the ground works for tundra twister which is actually pretty good

My favorite unique carousel is the Musical Carousel at Kentucky Kingdom, which was made by Zamperla! Fitting with its name, the Musical Carousel is music themed, and instead of animals, you ride on musical instruments! You can ride on a tuba, French horn, or violin, which you can rock back and forth, or, you can ride in one of two big drums that you can spin like the teacups 🙂 I like riding on the tubas, French horns, and violins, because rocking is one of my favorite motions 😉
