This is such a good video! I have an almost 14 month old and I’m so excited to start homeschooling! One thing I really want to focus on is math for her bc I was never good at it and it held me back a lot. So I’ll be coming back to this when my tot is ready 💜
I will say I’m very overwhelmed 😩 I know I don’t have to use everything you’re using but I definitely realize I don’t know how to put together enough material to ensure they’re learning. I have always felt like a simple dollar store book wasn’t enough but this kind of confirmed it for me. I will say I’m a first year homeschooling mom. It’ll make an entire year in October 2023. Even if I got everything in this video I wouldn’t even know how to put it together. In my mind you’re doing all those things daily.
Lefty here raising a right handed 3 year old. Take the binding out would be a good idea. I turn my paper instead of turning my wrist. My uncle basically turns his wrist all the way around to see what he is writing. LEFT HANDED SCISSORS!! I don't remember having problems with kid scissors but these adult scissors kick my butt. Hope that helps.
My last child is 3 and def a firecracker. 😄 he knows almost all his sounds just from listening in on me teaching his older sister and occasionally participating in a game/hands on activity I’m doing with her. I haven’t done any school with him at all but plan to this fall. We will be doing preschool math at home too! ❤
I just picked up that Preschool Math at Home for my 3 year old. Im thinking of the Explode the Code books and also the Kindergarten from CLE and the Rod & Staff ABC books. He also knows his letters and sounds but isn't ready to really read. I keep seeing that Elemental book. Yall might love the Play Smart Skill Builders books. So cute and fun. I want my oldest to do it with him for quality time.
Just watched this video and we are using so many of the same things! I’m interested in the “What Your Preschooler Needs to Know” book! And I may check out the All About Reading Pre-Reading for my 4 year old. I am interested in using All About Reading for Kindergarten next year already.
My 3 year old is my 4th daughter and sounds just like yours as far as learning. Loves doing school and is beyond her age but motor skills are definitely still 3 year level. Thanks for the recommendations
My husband and I had 2 lefties and we are both right handed 🤷🏼♀️ I’m between handwriting without tears, zaner bloser and Getty dubay. He did the handwriting without tears that you showed in this video but I feel the letters are ugly. That’s a me problem though. 😂
Same! I can't get past how they do the letters. And I want to love it. I get their reasoning but I found it was distracting for my kids. I love DNelian style handwriting but not sure how that would be for a lefty.
@@brittanyolga I think Zaner Bloser would be good for lefties because like handwriting without tears, they put the letters at the top instead of on the left side of the page. Lefties can just look up instead of covering it with their own hand.
@@juliequates9529 so glad I’m not the only one that just can’t like that style of handwriting haha! Also I’m looking at dNealin too because it’s so pretty! I still can’t make up my mind 🤦♀️
I was wondering if you have any information about testing in GA I have a friend that has been homeschooling and is having a hard time finding information about testing. Thank you for any information.
Grow up as a left handed child. Let her adjust her book and paper however she needs don't accommodate too much because can affect her hand writing. I used to smear a lot when I was in elementary school but then I had to learn how to adjust so I wouldn't smear anymore. As then adult I fill out papers and sign docs nobody cares about me being left handed I have to adjust.
I’m going to be homeschooling my kindergartener this year and am thinking of getting the all about reading program. Is it bad if I start him on the pre reading because he is barely starting to learn to read? I know if I start on level one he likely won’t understand.
You should start him sheets he is skill wise. Curriculum is just a tool. Use it to help you, don’t stress about what level it is. Start at pre reading and take it from there. You got this
I have a free Pre-K complete curriculum with video lessons for a full year on my channel. Look under the Playlist A to Z. It’s not Charlotte Mason, but I hope it’s a blessing!
Nice videos I enjoy the information but the unbelievable amount of words you mispronounce is about as painful to listen to as nails on a chalkboard. I hope that you work on that because your poor speech patterns will negatively impact your kids speech and writing. Fortunately, you will learn the correct way to speak as you guide them and if you still choose to speak so poorly then that’s just a real shame.

Do you have any videos or guidance on how to create a schedule for your preschooler? How does a typical day go for you with your youngest?
Would love this type of video! Have you found any?
Love your videos and ideas! I have a 2.5 year old and trying to prepare myself for homeschooling!
Amazing video. I have an almost 2 year old I will be homeschooling. I put all these materials on my list . Thanks for the info.
If you could please give links to everything you have
Thank you for the PreK videos! My little son is the same age as your daughter…3 but turns 4 in January! We’re so excited to start! 💙

Those are so great picks !!! The elemental phonics book is simple blend ladders and cvc word practice. It is simple and all in one book. 🥰
can u post the links for these books you are showing
How do you use the book What Your Preschooler Needs to Know?

Do we have to sign up with a school company before homeschooling? 🤔 I’m confused on where to start
My daughter is turning 2 in July and I am so excited to begin planning for when she turns 3!!
I really enjoy your channel! Thanks for sharing! ❤
My 3 year old is my firecracker, too! Love your haircut. Thank you for this video:)
Thank you so much 😊
Hi. Which knowledge crate did you get exactly? Thanks.

So much info!! Thank you so much!!
My grandparents’ neighbor has a 4 year old daughter that turns 5 next month!! And her mom plans on homeschooling her for 2025/26 school year
Would you be able to write a list of all the booklets you are using please!
I was hoping to find this somewhere too
Thanks for sharing.
My last is 18 months old and is definitely our firecracker too
Love it, Momma 😊

🤣🤣🤣!!! I was very close to doing Zaner Bloser with my younger ones. I might pick it up and try it next year and compare the programs.

I'm thinking of Getty Dubay too for my 4 and 6 year olds. I love the style of handwriting.

My daughter is 3 I want to start teaching her some kind of preschool education.
Hii
is there a curriculum you recommend for 2 and 3 year old
