The spots shown are obviously diffusers fallen off. All the cold booting and resetting in other world won't fix it. You have taken some video of the repair required from another UA-cam user. You do not show anywhere enough detail for anyone to fix the problem. A waste of time watching this.
All the preliminary nonsense about resetting and rebooting has no effect on the problem shown in the video. It's clear straight away that it's dropped diffusers. The repair video where the problem is addressed isn't even yours. You've pinched it.
Fortunately, I quickly realised that the information in this video would be unreliable when the subtitle text said ‘wait 30 seconds’ but the verbal soundtrack said ‘wait 30 minutes’.
Hey, sorry for the long intro. 😅 For the fix, you'll need a screwdriver and a new LED strip. First, unplug the TV and take off the back cover. Then, locate the faulty LEDs and replace them
I've a 55 inch Samsung Tv Curved! Has some white spots but while lifting it I noticed somethings were shaking inside the TV likes small plastics! Could it be the plastics or 'caps' have fallen off to cause the white patches?
It sounds like the white spots on your 55 inch Samsung curved TV might indeed be due to those loose parts you're hearing. These could be reflectors or lens caps that have come off from the LED backlight. This is a common issue and can cause those white patches on the screen. I'd recommend getting a professional to open it up and check, as they can safely reattach any loose parts.
Yes, watch other Samsung TV repair videos. It's really not that difficult to take apart and fix those diffusers. I've replaced all of the LED strips in a 40" Samsung Smart TV and am currently putting a 55" one back together that I glued in the missing diffusers. Just take your time and be sure to keep the front screen completely level as it is pretty fragile. I slipped a large piece of cardboard under the screen and slid it off. I used E6000 to glue the diffusers back on.
Basic steps didn't work, but didn't want to take TV apart. Will probably get engineer for it. On video, it should be mentioned to switch off all power to TV before taking apart in case of electric shock which can be fatal.Should add to this video and past and future videos for safety.
Yeah, totally agree with you on the safety tip. Always best to unplug and make sure all power is off before digging into any electronics. Adding a warning about electric shock in the video is a great idea to keep everyone safe.
Just bought an open box laptop from Best Buy. Had a dent on the back of the screen and then I noticed a faded spot of the screen. Very minor almost missed it but now it’s unbearable lol
Ah, that's a bummer it didn't work for ya! Sometimes these fixes can be hit or miss depending on the issue. Maybe try checking for any software updates or consider calling a tech if it's really bugging you.
True, sometimes it feels like just buying a new one is the easier route, especially with prices dropping on TVs. But if you're up for it, trying a fix might save some cash. Depends on how you feel about a little DIY adventure!
Thanks for the information, but, I already paid a great deal for this waste of metal. So why the hell would I become an overnight mechanical engineer and fix this piece of junk. I have discovered that in my personal opinion, samsung tv’s are trash including the phones. This is a samsung issue that needs to be fixed by the manufacturer, not the customer. Someone should sue their asses, for all the money that is paid to buy these pieces of junk. Thanks for the info. but, no thanks. 👎
Wow, that sounds super frustrating! Totally get why you'd be upset, especially after spending so much. Maybe reaching out to Samsung directly for a repair or refund could be a way to go? They should definitely sort this out for you. Sorry you're dealing with this hassle!
Sorry to hear you didn't find the video helpful. 😅 Fixing white spots can be tricky, but the tips in the video usually work for many. Maybe give it another try? Or if you've found a different solution, do share!
Great video, please rename this. How not to repair your tv. Thise exact white spots are light reflectors and you know that. Knkwing that you also know nothing kn your video works. You have to take apart the TV. Reported.
Sorry to hear the fix didn't work for you! Taking apart the TV is definitely more involved but can be the right move for those stubborn issues. Thanks for pointing that out, and good luck with your repair!
Haha, sounds like your Samsung TV is stuck in a time warp with no updates in sight! 😂 Maybe it's time to give Samsung a shout or look into some manual fixes.
If nothing in the video helped, maybe it's time to call in a pro or check if it’s still under warranty? White spots can be such a pain to fix on your own.

Hey, sorry if the vid wasn't clear enough. 😕 The idea was to show a quick fix, not a detailed repair guide. I'll try to make a more detailed one soon.

I’m skipping this video after reading this comment 😅
@@hifiaudios8101In the meantime take this video down unless your intent is to waste searchers time.
So the actual fix seems to be the last part of the video? 😅
Fortunately, I quickly realised that the information in this video would be unreliable when the subtitle text said ‘wait 30 seconds’ but the verbal soundtrack said ‘wait 30 minutes’.
dont need all pre amble BS..Can you get to the repair proceedure as adverised? like tools requred,..steps to disassemble?

Other videos on YT give detailed instructions on disassembling the Samsung Smart TV.

Never buy a Samsung!!!

Defintely take it back to Best Buy and see if they can replace it or fix it for ya. Those little issues can become a big headache later on
😮😢

Thank you too
Doesn't work !

Cheaper to buy a new TV

Done Everything and nothing works still have the two light orbs shining in my tv screen.
If nothing in the video helped, maybe it's time to call in a pro or check if it’s still under warranty? White spots can be such a pain to fix on your own.
Me too just noticed them one day weren't there before to light orbs near the bottom of the screen but like more in a line shape so annoying 😢
