0:05 I have to say it. Clint used a 44. Remington in "Pale Rider". Lee Van Cleef used a 44. Remington in "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly"
i caught that too. clint used the colt navy in the good, bad, ugly
That’s what I thought too I said out Loud “uhhh pale rider” when he said that 😂
I'm amazed Rick went straight to $1500 coz that to me is actually a pretty fair price
The customer was in a pissy mood from the beginning. I notice that when guys are like that Rick doesn't screw with them on his offer.
Well You aint going to try to scam a regular 😉😆
Yeah usually he starts at half the value
yeah, i was sure he was going to start at like 800 or less
You ruined the video for me
THE SASS from that guy was incredible.
Baa!..I see what you did there.
It seems a lot of people on the show and in the comments don't know how stores work
1. They can't pay you as much as they will sell it for
2. It doesn't matter one bit how much you paid for it
3. Inventory laying around not selling costs money
I'm surprised Rick went straight to $1500 right off the bat and not more like $1000
I am stuck in a never ending cycle of pawn star episodes , someone help !
Same here
Me to man, me to
Same here
5 more episodes... Its the best I can do.
When you find the way out let me know cuz i cant stop
"Go ahead call some crazy guy down here." Yeah he already knows how this all goes. We all do. 😂😂
He said crazy, not the crazy eyed guy lol
@Mr.Beant now that you say it....no, lol
Theses guys must've worked at gamestop before coming here.
It's business, they gotta make money to.
Lol
Well the dude said he bought it for 1,700 and was asking for 10k soooo... lol
Well said my friend!
They don’t look like they live in a basement with a Megan Fox poster, so no.
A cylinder for a black powder revolver handgun is not called a "cartridge" .
Revolver cylinder
Rick reminds me of a pug...
His nose looks like a chiwawa
Yah fat face
You're right! Lol
Hugh Jazz omg he does
More like a french bulldog
I like that he referred to the cylinder as a cartridge.
Ignorant script-writer.
I was wondering about that.
Someone changing out cylinders is a apocryphal tale.
Whilst trying to reinstall said cylinder with the hammer down
i doubt he actually paid 1700 for it. Just said so that rick would agree on 1600
kakka626 surprised considering that shithead has scammed so... many ppl out of money. Allways wants to pay little to nothing, and ppl continue to oblige the fucks
My thoughts exactly. Likely paid 1500 for it.
@Antonio Robertsson how this show works is it does reenactments so the real even would be similar and the prices would be the same
@Antonio Robertsson seeing as thats what people on the show have said and basic research says
Rick got a little taste of his own medicine there. Don't take it out on the seller 😋
One of te few times Rick starts with a fair and acceptable offer.
It wasn’t on The Good, Bad and the Ugly! Clint carried one on Pale Rider!
Jack Burton lee van cleef had it in the good the bad and the ugly
Angel eyes used in the good the bad and the ugly
Yes but Clint didn’t use it lol
Rick said Clint used it on the good bad and the ugly, that’s not true.
@@zackbrown19 yes but clint uses a colt conversion in the good the bad and ugly .he uses the remington in pale rider you can look it up .
My daughter was 3 years ago in Vegas and she was in this store and buy me the same shirt for me,i was happy with it bc i love this show, greetings from the Netherlands
I think this one of the only times Rick has been fair with his prices and didn’t completely lowball the dude right off the bat
Is it just me or was that guy kinda arrogant..?
He is in the shop to sell , not to make friends . And for once it's nice to see someone outplay rick
Yessss I see what you mean
TheRandomGuy I was on my way to type that same comment
Rick is arrogant his just playing his game since he’s a regular and knows how it goes
TheRandomGuy hes a regular he knows Rick and Rick knows him they are good friends
I like this guy.
He put Rick in his place.
In the movie, "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", Clint Eastwood used an 1851 Colt navy with cartridge conversion kit. Although the kits were not patented until 1868.
You're right...Rick doesn't know everything!
He was confused with Pale Rider. In that movie Clint does carry a Remington with multiple cylinders.
0:44 the face of a man that ain't listening🤣
bought it for 1700, sold it for 1600.. lol
He took an L
Other people are assuming he lied about how much he bought it for (probably like $1500) and knew by saying that he paid $1700, Rick would go around $1600. It's smart, and he's a regular, so he probably figured out that could/would work.
That is what usually happens in a pawn shop 90% of the time
I'm sure he bought it for much less than that. What he did is pure sales strategy.
Stonks
“Do you want to give me $2000”
“No.”
I think Clint Eastwood used the gun in Pale Rider, in which he also presented quick reloading that rick mentioned; lee van clef used the remington in the good the bad the ugly, eastwood carried a colt in the good the bad the ugly, almost 100% sure
Bingo.
Eastwood carried a Colt in all 3 of the "Dollars Trilogy" movies. He carried a Colt Single Action Army with a 5.5" barrel in the first two, and a Colt 1851 Navy with a cartridge conversion (that didn't exist during the time the movie takes place in) in TGTBTU. And yes, Lee Van Cleef carried a Remington in TGTBTU, although he also used a Colt 1851 Navy for the the scene where he shoots the guy in bed, and also carries the 1851 Navy during his time in the Union prison camp. But for most scenes (including the Mexican standoff at the end), he is using the Remington.
outlaw Jose wells ,,, good bad & the ugly he used a peacemaker
The Watchful And Harmonious Subsriber he used a Colt Navy
Yeah it was an 1861 Nagy Colt that was adapted for use of modern cartridges
Comment section to save you some time
1) Mr. Brown joke
2) Someone asking for an explanation of the Mr. Brown joke
3) I'm taking all the risk here so I'll give you....(some odd item and low ball number)
4) This is the holy grail of...
Jba 99 ...dude! Spoiler alert next time.
You forgot the comments about Rebecca
lewis4642011 i crushed on Rebecca before it was cool
" nohh I dont think so I think imma take it home "
Jba 99 best comment ever! I thought i was the only one who noticed that shit so annoying
Makes me sad every time I watch pawn stars now that the old man is gone :( RIP sir
Called the expert on an expert. We’re living in Rick’s matrix.
Eastwood also used it in the Outlaw Josey Wales. I think he also used it in Pale Rider. It was pretty much his favorite on screen firearm.
He carried the Colt army in Josie Wales. He only used the Remington new army in Pale Rider.
I miss craig. He's like by far the best expert in military things
He’s more better than Alex
Clint used a 1851 Colt Navy conversion, in the Good the Bad and the Ugly. The Remington was used in Pale Rider.
He probably confused Angel Eyes played by Lee Van Cleef who did use a Remington on occasion in the Italian Westerns.
Aye i loves the show ❤😍 i learn a lot
Seller: ''I have the gun that Hitler used in his last moments alive and i'd like $1,000,000 for it''
Rick: ''Cool gun but it doesn't have a lot of history so it's gonna be hard to sell, I can't go any higher than 50 bucks''
Dank Videos So someone finally found Hitler in South America? He sure didn't die in Germany.
Brandan Taylor you have no idea you fool, hitler in argentina, your off your head
Dank Videos stupid troll
Caden Alleman he means when he killed himself...
Imagine actually having that gun , you'd be rich
Clint Eastwood used a Colt in The Good the Bad and the Ugly
Ya, a 1851 Colt cartridge conversion.
I know but Angel eyes used it in it
Outlaw josy wells
@@willyswagon57 he had two colt walkers in that from 1847
@@joebuck3398 you think.
This guy really loves to say “let’s cut to the chase”. Even when it makes no sense
There's a Remington new model army and at least 5 reproductions in the family. The original was won by my great grandfather in a Poker game during the great depression. The story goes that a week later the guy he won it from offered him $100 for it, in 1930's $, and he turned him down. It's in quite a bit better shape than the one in the video.
killing people
My father lives down the street from Remington Arms. Huge building.
The remakes// reproduction of the new model colt revolvers are actually pretty good quality, even though they aren’t really worth much. Based upon the exact schematics, measurements and specifications, they even actually fire.
True, Uberti and Pietta have really stepped up their game, especially Pietta.
Rick can't buy the reproductions, as they aren't antique and require a license, etc. That's why he said what he said.
@@-007-2 this is old but yes you absolutely can without a license
@@redsun3910not in a socialist state like New York or New Jersey.
You can even convert them to fire modern cartridges nowadays like 38 special, (for the 36 caliber version) and 45 colt/45 schofield or even 45 acp for the .44 version. The new west is a great era to live in 👌 haha
"Early today I bought everything available at my shop"
It was "Pale Rider" that Eastwood used the New Army Remington Conversion in not TGTBTU. In the latter he carried and open frame Colt, probably an Army model that had been converted to cartridge. But Good, Bad, Ugly was so far off in that there were NO cartridge pistols larger than a .22 in those days. Not until 1868 was there a successful cartridge conversion even available for a revolver, and then for the Remington only to begin with.
Angel eyes used the 1858 army in TGTBTU
I think he’s referring to the movie Pale Rider where Clint Eastwood reloads a cylinder quickly. Also S’Alright by Kenneth Soren is discretely playing in the background; awesome song
Clint eastwood in The Good The Bad and The Ugly used a colt 1851 navy with a cartridge conversion...
He really called the cylinder a cartridge lol
Love my ‘58
M Brown is not only a meme but got along famously with it
Lmao they made the BO2 Remington new model army was so good the made it in real life
Lmao
clint eastwood used a colt navy in the good the bad and the ugly, lee van cleef used the remington
Michael Reid
It was Pale Rider
I have 2 of them. I still hurt with both of them. Love the 44 cal
rick really took a big risk there, i mean he still has to frame it and everything lmao
And stock it
Lee van cleef used a remington clint used a colt; although he did use a remington in Pale rider
When Rick does the "sigh," the bait is taken.
Good vid
"crazy" experts, every episode!
I like the Remington frame better. Completely in circles the cylinder. Making it stronger and more accurate. But of course the Colt is to be the most famous.
Beautiful shape of a 160 year old revolver
Craig and Rebecca need their own show "books n guns"
pilotstyle123 and When she happens to get Shity Books Craig can Shoot them up!!!
Wow. That thing was NIIICE
The Remington was actually more expensive than the Colt was by almost double but bcuz the Colt factory burned down and the gov needed their demand for firearms met they paid the extra money for the Remington New model army which shortly after became a huge hit with soldiers and officers. Later most were converted to rim fire which consisted of swapping in a drilled out cylinder which was called the Rollin White a patent which Remington paid Colt for the rights to produce their own. The so called "expert" doesn't have a clue what he's talking about
I’m pretty sure it was .50 cents more
craig nd rick such a nice person 😍
This is like the holy grail of remington new model army
My uncle has one. Its amazing
Customer: Hopefully I walk out with about $5,000 for it
Walk out with $13
And a flaming o-ring.
Lee Van Cleef used the Remington in The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. Clint Eastwood used a colt navy in that film. However, he did use the Remington in Pale Rider.
Lee van Cleef used a Remington new model army in the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Clint used an 1851 navy cartrige conversion Revolver with silver rattle snake on the grip.
Rick still reminds me THANOS
I was ready to buy it 1700 ;) i love old revolver with spinning cylinder sounds ;)
Clint was rocking a colt 1851 with a cartridge conversion in that movie Lee Van Cleef used the 1858 Remington.
- I have Tyrannosaurus Rex's monocle, using it to hunt small prey. I want 500.000
- It's nice but there are a few scuff marks on it. Let me call a buddy who's an expert on scuff marks and huge risks to offer you 100 bucks and Chumlee for the weekend.
Rick's actually a nice person. He settled for 1600 so Rob won't take too much of a hit from the purchase.
Clint Eastwood used a Colt Navy .36 in GBU. Angel Eyes used the Remington New Army .44.
awesome gun
My favorite black powder revolver from the civil war was a Remington 1858
man rick looks cool
in that poster which comes at last
Its very rare to see somebody teach rick history 😂
Moral: don't use pawn shops to enhance your knowledge of firearms.
its a pawn shop dude not the antique roadshow
Wow! This thing is nice
It's sound like a dealer lol 😆😅
Lol when he says Italian reproductions he means an Uberti.
or cimaron
Or a Pietta, they're pretty good quality these days.
Used to live in Ilion, New York
They are the best con artists in the game 🤣🤣🤣
Clint Eastwood used a Colt 1851 Navy in the Good the bad and the ugly. In Pale Rider he carried a Remington 1858
This , Remington , .44 is a historical piece !! Even better then it's colt competitor !! Used at Custer's last stand !! The Remington, was the best back then !!
I disagree. The Colt's were more popular and more abundant.
@@saltcreekammo More popular dosnt make it better.
Wow, this thing is nice
this was my fav gun in bo2 zombies burried 😂😂
dmontssj 23 👌
Feel like the seller watch the show and knows everything what is about to happen when making a deal with Rick. 😅
It was Lee Van Cleef’s character angel eyes that carried the Remington Clint Eastwood had a colt navy
That is one little dude!
That sigh.
3:39 look at the inspector roll his eyes lmao
if someone came in trying to sell a pawn shop rick would say he needs to bring in an expert.
That guy really hasn’t watched the show before he went in there looking to sell the gun....
It's staged. They sell it off camera and then re-create it with a script.
It is against Nevada State Law to record transactions in a Pawn Shop.
Source?
Eggs is eggs I don’t think it’s that far they know the item but I don’t think they have a script
Clint Eastwood and Mr. Brown got along famously with that gun😅
Beautiful lookin gun
Clint Eastwood used the Colt 1851 conversion in The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
Dancing hahahaha lolj
The good, the bad ,and the ugly, Clint Eastwood carried a cartridge loaded pistol. However in Pale Rider he used the pistol featured in the pawn clip.
Mr. Brown got along with this gun famously.
My initial thought was 1200
Yes
BREAKING NEWS: Mr. Brown was murdered yesterday night after failing to get along famously
R.I.P 😪
Patrick Jude MORE BREAKING NEWS : Mr Brown Was Saved after he was pronounced Dead , sources says it was a Miracle that didn’t go along famously with science!!
Patrick Jude lame!!!
The Holy Grail of American coins shits all over Mr. Brown.
Who’s Mr Brown?
Patrick Jude thanks god 🙏
Clint Eastwood actually carried a Colt 1851 Navy Revolver in the Man with no name trilogy.
had to have caps for it and black powder and a round ball
