- Dr. Jordan Rogers continues preaching verse-by-verse through The Book of Exodus in this sermon from Exodus 13:17-22 entitled, “The Leadership of the LORD.”
The purpose of Exodus 13:17-22 is to record the LORD’s manner of leading His people in their departure from Egypt and unto the land of Canaan. First, we see the LORD’s wisdom in leading Israel on an indirect route, rather than having to immediately face war by going down a direct path to Canaan. Secondly, we see the LORD’s faithfulness in leading Israel in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night-never failing to guide them every step of the journey.
The following is a sermon on Exodus 13:17-22, and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
