@@coletonmarino1310 why you say that? There’s quite a few problems in our meta today. It’d be fun to see agents be actual meta along with maybe the splights or therions. The game needs a refresh
@@aarontaylor9874 you’re just a casual player who’s sick of losing to good decks, stay in your lane of casual play instead of complaining about the “problems” of our meta today.
I played agents since that structure deck came out. I remembered them being good in highschool and I ended up winning tons of duels with it and a great extra deck.
I love how Cali always substitutes “a random card” with spooky dog wood, remembering he paid a lot of money for them thinking somebody will actually play that😭🤣
@@snt9310 I may be crazy but Ghost Sister can be helpful cause my opponent would have two choices once the effect goes through play their turn knowing every effect monster they special summon increases my life points or set backrow and normal or set a monster, end their turn so my life points get cut in half, and hope I don’t have a feather duster in hand or draw one.
This morning was terrible but I didn't let it ruin my day. Only for me to see a man at work having a bad day. Ain't going to lie i gave him the same advice, he told me thanks brother and calmed down. Little things really can push us over the edge but having eachothers backs and knowing it. Just hits different.
It sure looks powerful but I'm wondering on how resilient to handtraps the strategy is, how many bricks you have to play (we all love hard opening shineballs don't we) and how consistent it is
@@thomash8513 i mean only very few decks can consistently play around nib. 90% meta decks only can because of the brave token engine and nib is also a very high impact hand trap. I was more asking if like a single ash or veiler (yk rather normal low impact handtraps) would stop the deck completely or if it still can build up a board.
@@cankohn2654 ur not wrong what I meant is playing through it ur not playing dpe u don’t have something like seal but the deck looks like it has a lot of choke points and it seems like u can barely play handtraps of how many cards u need to like actually play the deck it’s probably gonna be rogue tbh maybe tier 2 I have an idea of the ratios but I’m not sure what other shit u have to play if that’s the case best u can do is put in droplet and pray going second
1. No one plays Nib rn. It has a terrible Despia/Floo/Eld matchups and only works against Prank/Based when you have another interrupt. 2. Herald, Crossout, and Making Barone before your 5th are all viable in here.
Do you have a deck list for this deck Cali? I would to see your deck profile for this deck. I’m running your Thunder Dragon deck right now but this is my all time favorite deck so I definitely running this
This deck has a funny interaction with Nib: if you get Nib’d or Use Nib Majesty Hyperion makes your opponent take the battle damage you would’ve. You basically want a big token so you can crash into it 💀
Used to play chaos agents back in the day. Still have every single card and definitely excited. I knew when diviner of the herald came out, that I would need a few copies for the deck.
Kinda funny I've been playing a similar deck with Diviner + Trias, but instead of going for Buten I was actually going with Trickstar Nightshade into Trickstar Bloom to go +2 for Link climbing. And was combining it with a Darklord engine (3x Contact, 3x Banishment, 3x Ixchel, 3x Superbia, 1x Condemned Darklord) and Angel O7 to get Kristya out on the board turn 1. Also used Chaos engine because darks and lights.
The Agent's have been a favorite of mine since it was the first structure deck i ever got when i was a kid. Finally having them be playable and THIS playable is nice and i'm probably gonna invest in a display of Ghosts From the Past 2 because of this. I don't think the deck will be tier 1 though, probably a fun rouge deck. I say that because if you open your 1 card combo with Diviner of The Herald and they Ash it, and you don't have Venus+Neptune in your hand/happen to have drawn your 1 of Trias, your screwed. If you open a combo with Earth and they stop Earth, you also can't continue your combo's unless you have Neptune+Venus. Not opening Neptune+Venus or Earth can really screw you over against meta decks, you won't be able to combo at all in the worst case and in the best case you can end with maybe 1 disruption(from my testing). I still think the deck is more than playable but once people figure out that you just have to negate their opener(Earth or Diviner) and they can't play? It'll probably be in the same boat as other similar decks that rely heavily on their first monster getting it's effect off. The decks comeback potential is really really high though but against top tier meta decks that can play 12+ Hand traps to open 2 of them and kill you on the next turn, this deck is going to struggle and going second this deck struggles because, as i said, it's very weak to disruption.
Is there any way to add the drytron engine to this deck since drytron engine can search herald plus extra advantage? Even if I have to play with 50 or cut out hand traps
Nice one Konami,in OCG these are coming out as a structure deck with nibiru inside and here in tcg are in ghosts from the past!!! I didnt expect anything more from TCG Konami.
I hope agents come back, I havent physically played the game since 2012 but the last things I played were blackwings, agents and 6sams I like them all except 6sam idk...
I wanna see what this list can do going second. Idk how well it would do against Nib either. Do they have any built in early combo outs? And do they need droplets or dark ruler no more to break a board? I think this could be really good, but probably not tier 1. But I'd love to be proven wrong. Great video Cali. Keep up the good work my man
They def need droplets to even have a chance at breaking a board it looks like u can barely play handtraps and ur playing what 5 bricks min shit’s not swordsoul where u can break a board with engine cards then go into halq combo end with like 4 disruptions while playing like 12 handtraps

Real talk. Its gonna be quite interesting to see how things develop over the next month or so

got a full deck profile of this deck?
When does the agent structure deck comes out
