You don't usually need to replace the entire STEM... (it's not a "cartridge"). You can just replace the rubber boot / cap at the end of the STEM. In your video I can see what looks like a o-ring inside the stem... which isn't completely unusual. So, depending on what the problem was (running faucet... dripping out of the handle... or both), you may be able to solve it with an o-ring, a rubber boot, or both.
@@Big_Island_Boi I agree that replacing just one singular part would solve the problem but I made the video as a whole to help whoever would need to replace any part with just a broad understanding of replacing the whole unit. And I do say cartridge but that’s just me. Just what we call it from where I’m located
@@T3CHNOskillz I didn't say in my reply that you were wrong to replace the entire stem. I simply pointed out to anyone watching in the future that you don't have to do that to solve most problems. The stems are designed to be serviceable and the parts are available... and obviously cheaper than an entirely new stem.
