Thank you, but in the future please show the correct picture. I was looking for a shopping bag that has the flat, fitted look of the picture. A little disappointed that the video bag has the folds/pleats everyone is making. Subscribing anyway. 🤎🧡

If you use a stiff fabric, it'll look exactly the same as shown in the picture and the picture shown is the right one.

@@sahanamuralidhar The picture shown on the left has a flat bottom and smooth sides. The bag made in the video has side pleats. All the stiffener in the world will make that pleated bag look flat on the bottom or sides.
Are we seeing the same light blue bag photo or even watching the same video? But thanks for the stiff fabric tip, anyway.

@@PennyManning2 I tried pulling the pleat out and placed a stiff cardboard for the bottom of the bag I stitched and it looked similar to the flat bottom shown in the picture. What is not visible is a small triangular folding which sits on the inside of the bag on the flat base so smoothly that it gives the illusion of a flat bottom. I wish I could send you a picture of my own bag.
