Ye but as great as these musicians are, Arthy made it absolutely beautifull, he was the master on backing trad, very missed, but to me will never be forgotten, ♥️👏👏👏👏👏👏
I can handle trad fast when musicians are capable of it,,, can’t stand all these ones that want it fast and wreckless, with half the notes left out,,, and blunders everywhere ,,, and we hear it very often ,,, they should really leave trad alone,,, destroying it,,, this is class and driving as I’d expect from such a brilliant bunch of fine musicians,,, great stuff 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I just love jig/reel crossover sets and the switch here was like butter. Gorgeous playing.
Just the total bliss on their faces!
It simply doesn’t get any better than this folks, rest easy Arty genius of the guitar, can’t believe the sad news.

Makes my heart leap....
Thanks for the energy skill and pure joy.....
My favourite piece of Irish music.
Stephen Hayden is a great sweet fiddle player. One of the best in this country
Yes, and Brid Harper too!
Martin Hayes, Zoe Conway..
It's Dezi Donnelly
Sorry, I should have asked: isn't it Dezi Donnelly?
lovely stuff
The third tune (first reel) is Twilight In Portroe by Sean Ryan.
And do you know the fourth tune by any chance?
@@blahblahblahblah2837 Hiya, yeah it's The Dairymaid I think.

You're so lucky! My Great Grandfather was a fiddle player. He worked the railway, but he would make his money for drinks playing the fiddle in pubs.
I would love to visit Hayden's but I can't find it on any map, can I get the address?
The rose in the heather, the rambler. (Jigs) and two reels The dawn and the dairymaid.

The Third tune is a reel, I think a version of "The Dawn" ? But what's the 4th (last)Tune?
Sean Quinn
Is "Rose in the Heather" a reel...anyone?
fineartist No, The Rose in The Heather is a Jig, The first one on this set.
What the hell is that squeezey box thing that one guy is playing?
a concertina
@@barfuss. not a concertina! its a button accordion and the guy is Dermot Byrne, used to play in Altan.
Proud to share the surname McGlynn with Arty
Great music and great players, tune talking means nothing, these professionals can play anywhere, an amateur is very limited.
Brill!
What about the last tune. Anyone knows the title?
The Dairymaid
Close your eyes and you'd think the old De Dannan was in the house.
Excellent playing...but a bit too fast for my taste.
fineartist It's dance music, actually...
correct far too fast
playing fast in fleadh Ceoils gets marked down 7 marks playing fast does not make you a great player to the expert
Playing fast and holding perfect timing clearly makes you an expert which these guys have in abundance, although tan Ex is a has been
And a spurt is a drip under pressure 🤔😂😂😂
