However the OSU team that Oregon played the first time wasn’t the same team they played this time. There were a lot of adjustments on both offense and defense. And OSU showed why they were slightly favored in this game, although they wiped the floor with them

But Oregon is still to be respected, as I said in my previous post, they're going to take this loss, learn from it, and keep growing. You don't become a juggernaut of a program overnight. But as long as you're growing and going in the right direction, then they'll get there. Ohio St. didn't become a great program overnight; Michigan didn't become a great program overnight; USC, Georgia, Alabama, Washington, Texas, etc. didn't become great programs overnight...they grew that way, over time.

@Jeffw.35 , I agree. I am a firm believer in iron sharpening iron... and although the Ducks were decimated in this game by Ohio St., it's just what the Ducks needed to grow and become sharpened. You can become great by going against greatness, if you learn from and build upon it. Did I want the Ducks to win it all? Yes. However, I do understand that other teams do, too...and the team that wants it more than who their playing will play like that. The Ducks didn't show up in this game. Hopefully, they learn and grow from it. They will win a Natty though.
