And if lando keeps getting podiums, mclaren will too with all of Max’s trophy’s they’ll be replacing (he almost broke the last one too lol)

I can get relate to Kevin getting his wife pregnant after Brazil. From 05-07 I lived in Denmark, my wife's home country. I came back to the US in early August. My wife and daughter followed us in late September. Our 2nd child was born in July 2008.
Kevin got pole and his wife got pole too... Lol

Try this quali format again, but teams can choose one compound per session. So a backmarker could pick the softs for q1, but they would have to use mediums/hards for q2.

@@setupandey4819 Sure and not only that. For a number of reasons. His first time driving the car. First race after months. Limited P1 time due to rain. Limited experience from Practice sessions due to new Tyre Allocation Program. Out-qualified Yuki, finished ahead of Yuki despite being dropped to P18 from P13 in the 1st lap, 1st turn due to incident. Not fit in the neck after long time passed since he drove a race. Managed 40 laps with the Mediums. And finally, he drove a tractor, probably the worse car on the grid at the moment. If he didn't got involved in the incident the best he could have gotten would be P11 (ahead of Bottas and Albon), as top ten was taken by RB, McLaren, Mercedes, Ferrari and AM.
Amazing performance!

@@setupandey4819 Yeap! Mate, I just wanted to get it out of my chest. 😁I'm just so happy for Daniel, he is my favorite driver. Eveyone was saying they expected him to need at least 2-3 races to get adjusted and then possibly challenge Yuki, but he did so great. The rest of the season I believe could break or make Daniel's future. If he doesn't do great we will never get to see him racing again, it will be the end of his career.

Cant believe no props to Riccardio for his 40-lap stint in medium recovering 5 places.
Dunce of the day for me is Gasly, sinply goes charging up the outside of turn 1.. nine times out of ten at Budapest someone goes wide, and well, yep, ended up being a launch ramp for his team mate.
Great video! As for the race, it's the Hungoring, barring mass carnage in the first turn it is what it is. But still, it's a race. Also, yeah be nice if anyone could challenge Max for the lead for more than 2 corners but then if they can't, well seeing Red Bull break a bunch of records wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

I was at my home gp in aus this year for the modt chaotic first grand prix ever and it was truly something else. I WAS EVEN SITTED IN T1!

I much preferred their new qualifying format. Yes it may favor one car which does better on certain tires, but it makes it more interesting and forces drivers to become proficient with all sets of tires. It also ensures that a full selection of tires is available for race day.?
I went to last year's race in Hungary. Budapest is a fantastic city to visit.

As annoying as it was that McLaren swapped Piastri and Norris the pace Norris demonstrated afterwards kind of demonstrated they were right to do it.
no, the two drivers got different tasks then.
Piastri was told to keep a solid laptime for extending the middle stint, Norris was told to build a gap and risk a 3rd stop.
Then Piastri got screwed by having his second stop before Norris.
The Netflix series is more interesting than the actual races.
