Thank you so much for keeping one of the greatest and most underrated bands in history alive. I’ve been a fan of Chicago since the very beginning. I bought their very first album with my lawn mowing money, it changed my life. Even after 50 years their music hasn’t gotten old. Their music will live in infamy. You guys are all great.
Masterfully played, all of them. Singer, drummer, guitar solo drove shivers up my spine. Had to listen 10 times over at least. Binghamton NY, saw Chicago live , middle 70's , remember correctly. First concert. Brass transit kicking butt with some good memories, Nice
@@anitacalloway3032 Yes, I have listened to a lot of their covers. They are excellent. I believe they have stopped by my city when they tour in the US.
An amazing band to see live, comprised of the most talented group of musicians. The video accurately represents the quality of Brass Transit's performances. Can't wait to see them again!
Brass Transit is great but you must remember Chicago recorded this song over 50 years ago and copied no one. There will never be another Chicago, only copiers.
I can hardly tell the difference between you guys and Chicago. I seen you guys in Cannonsburg Mi at the picnic pops and I'm trying to get our musical director in Kings Point in Sun City Center Florida to bring you guys in. We have a series of tribute bands come here starting in January and runs through the end of March. It would be great to have you guys here
Great tribute band. The vocals are better than Chicago's are right now... with the exception of Robert Lamm. The voice of Cetera is much, much better. They should write their own music.
I think that Terry Kath would have lied this ...... he may have thought to himself that he could done even better, but regardless, I think that he would have liked it.
@@TR-vr5pz From the authenticity point of view it is tough to beat L&F. They are note for note and that guitar solo ends all arguments. This is live from the surround stage microphones (not from the mixing board ) on a much smaller production scale : ua-cam.com/video/DV-wkwcQWUw/v-deo.html

Amazing voice! Rhythm section is tight! I want to see this band live in concert.
Fantastic! Horns. Drums. Solo guitars. Singer. All awesome.
I love it! Just because we're sporting a few gray hairs here and there doesn't mean we're gonna quit, and we ain't gonna! FANTASTIC COVER GUYS!

What a voice. Crisp and clean, no caffeine. Best cover of this classic on UA-cam. Thanks for sharing!
You probably haven’t seen the Russian group “Leonid and Friends”. Check it out. But cover was excellent!

First concert, Binghamton, NY. 67 as I type, 1975 twelve grades over. Late 70's.. I think. The artists of brass transit honor them well . Thank you

Brass Transit is great but you must remember Chicago recorded this song over 50 years ago and copied no one. There will never be another Chicago, only copiers.
These guys are great, but, see Chicago at Tanglewood 7/21/1970 with Terry blistering the lead.

Very nice guys....

Great job! Check out Leonid and Friends ;)
Brass & Rythmn playing Soul Rock
Best version I've ever heard. Way better than Chicago's version.
Check out Leonid and Friends. It's a closer interpretation than this. Almost note for note.
They wouldn't exist if it weren't for Chicago
Pretty sure they would still exist, Chicago isn't God
@@druhmah Yeah really, If Chicago didn't exist, then who would they have copied off of dummy...
@@kirkmcdufford5885 I think everyone knows they are covering Chicago.
What’s Robert Lamm have To Say About This ?

Never liked the way that song ended. But these guys do an excellent job.
How many people out there know what 25 or 6 to 4 means? Besides me?
They would never exist if it weren't for "Chicago"
ya, I got the premise....
Thank you Captain Obvious.
I think that Terry Kath would have lied this ...... he may have thought to himself that he could done even better, but regardless, I think that he would have liked it.
They are very good but I think Leonid and Friends are better, just an opinion.
Wow better than the original
Ha ha ha ha. You must be kidding or deaf! Nobody sounds better that the original Chicago.
leonid and friends are better..... they are from russia.... !!
