There is evidence that in 1991 an Israeli undercover team planned on assassinating U.S. President George Herbert Walker Bush.
The first person to write of the plot was a former 11-term Republican Congressman from Illinois, Paul Findley. In a 1992 article in the Washington Report for Middle East Affairs, Findley described the alleged scheme and how it was revealed.
Findley writes that the U.S. Secret Service had received a warning that elements of Israel’s spy agency might target Bush when he went to Madrid for the opening day of the peace conference to be held that year.
According to Findley, a former Mossad agent named Victor Ostrovsky who had written a book exposing Israel’s spy agency told a group of Canadian parliamentarians that he had received secret intelligence suggesting that the “the Mossad’s hatred of Bush - and support for Vice President Dan Quayle - might lead to an attempt on the president’s life.”

Zionism was born in a different era (just barely made the tail end but still) when the idea of white people displacing brown people was still cool. Israel didn’t change, the world did. I blame woke and college kids with purple hair and not any kind of 70 years violent occupation. If the Arabs wanted rights they shouldn’t have lost so many wars. Might makes right and losers shouldn’t ever resist occupation.

…. Israel has a culture that celebrates disagreement and Lionizes Unity ! There is a very clear sense of an underlying bond throughout it’s population.
Israel is a laboratory for democracy surrounded by extremism and that makes Israel’s value for the world.
Unity and Faith make up for Israel’s Strength . Israel knows that if their common bond is shattered their country will cease to exist.
Israel is all about resilience, love , faith , trust, standing together, unity and pure strength. Israel is one big family with a highly developed sense of national solidarity.
Israel is a Youth society and that is why there is so much vitality in Israel
That’s why Israell will always succeed !
Israel’s cultural operating system is based on repeated exposure to over-increasing challenges, both before and during military service. This life trajectory produces people who become addicted to doing things that are difficult, important and meaningful.
The attraction to something deemed impossible is typically Israeli. Solving problemens is a national sport !
Israel has the ability to brush off and even appreciate failure as a way to grow
In Israel contribution to the public good is still an ever present major demand. Israelis are expected to take the national interest into consideration not just to cater to their private careers and kin . They are supposed to make personal sacrifices for society, to volunteer for various tasks, to fight and to die if necessary for their Country.
We stand unreservedly and unequivocally with Israel !

An ethno-state refers to ethnocratic state. An ethnocracy is a type of political structure in which the state apparatus is controlled by a dominant ethnic group to further its interests, power, dominance, and resources. Ethnocratic regimes in the modern era typically display a 'thin' democratic façade covering a more profound ethnic structure, in which ethnicity (race, religion, language etc) - and not citizenship - is the key to securing power and resources.
Is rael's proponents consistently, point out others who are doing/have done the same as it's being accused of; it doesn't mean its not wrong, it shouldn't be judged the exact same, they aren't doing it or it justifies/excuses/entitles them to also do the same. So, i don't know why the bother to do so.
Africa is a continent not a state; North n South Kor ea, Iceland, Finland, Japan etc, are not ethno-states!!! Immigration concerns nationality, not ethnicity. A nationality n an ethnicity are 2 completely different concepts.
The state is Isr ael, not J. 1 in 5 citizens aren't J, but it calls itself a j state n state policy n practice is to further the interests, dominance, power, land etc of J, not Isra elis; its an ethno-state. Why not admit it is, rather than opposing it being called, an ethno-state; which by attempting to justify it being an ethno-state ur doing anyway??? The "J nation-state" is an oxymoron. Either, it's a state for it's citizens (nation-state) or it's a state for the Js (ethno-state); it can't be both.
N im sorry, but no the Js (nor any other group for that matter) deserve a home imo. Give any other ethnicity that deserves, or has been given, a home n where it is/should be??? But if it's their home n the "J nation-state", needed for them to be safe, then all J should be there; n lose citizenship, property, assets etc in other nations, required to leave n/or apply through immigration to return/stay or be classed as illegally in the country. Otherwise, it is Js expecting to have their cake n eat it too.

You got the population wrong, as the majority are Jewish.
And yes, they do deserve a home, since they have not only defended their borders, it was originally theirs in the first place.

Suggestions because these arguments aren’t working on their own:
There’s one error. Israel has no official state religion. It’s a Jewish state ethnically only though of course Judaism will be the biggest religion in the country. The founders were careful about such things.
UN Resolution 181 (1948) called for a Jewish (and an Arab) State.
The other party in this conflict under Palestine Basic Law (2002-3) declares an Arab state ruled by Sharia.
These two facts make condemnation of Israel for being an ethnostate, ludicrous.
Finally, Israel was established out of need via 2000 years of history, to give Jews a place of refuge and establish a defensive power bloc. The need continued after 1948 as waves of refugees were taken in. It’s particularly evident today with western countries looking uncertain for Jews.

There's only one country that I can think of that is not an ethnostate, and I'm there now (the USA, in case you need help). Israel is an ethnostate and should be proud of it. Even converts are Jews once they complete their conversion, so, yes, Israel is an ethnostate. So are the vast majority of the other states in this world.
People who say they don't want to support any ethnostates are speaking the truth: they don't want to support the vast majority of states in the world. What they want is a global government that tolerates differences until they can be wiped out, modeled after the Chinese Communist Party and how they treat their own ethnic minorities. They are globalists, which, by definition, makes them completely intolerant of differences. Why, though, start with Israel (besides the anti-Semitic thing)? Because it's small so they perceive it as weak. Why not start with every single Muslim state? Because they don't care what these globalists think. The State of Israel (meaning the governing apparatus) does care, and that is the weak point that is being exploited.

@maltija1 I lived in Japan for a year, which doesn't make it not an ethnostate (I'm not Japanese, to be clear). Plenty of non-Arabs live in Saudi Arabia, but it's still an ethnostate. A very large number of people that are not of Swedish heritage live in Sweden, but it is still (for now, barely, still) an ethnostate. Being an ethnostate (a made-up word, anyway, but we know what it means) is no bad thing. In fact, it's completely normal. It's the rule, not the exception.
Further, when a new word pops up to denigrate some aspect of human experience, you can almost set your watch by the possibility that this new word describes something normal and accepted, but that the globalists want to denormalize and vilify, like all the relatively new fit-word-here-phobias. Homophobe, transphobe, Islamophobe, toxic masculinity, TERF, and on and on and on ad infinitum. Why? Because they want to completely re-engineer human civilization. They want NO states, except the global utopia they envision. What they and we will get (and the smart globalists know this and want it anyway, because they believe they will be at the top of this stinking dung heap of a pyramid) is global dystopia, if they succeed.
Israel is the Jewish State, and that's a GOOD THING.

@IronIck45 Now you're being obtuse. If you go back far enough, we are all from Africa, so if you want to play that game, we are all the same and there is no ethnicity, but it's a silly, childish game that I have no taste for. I do find it a bit ironic that a German would take this point of view, given how important Aryan identity (whatever that is) was, not so long ago in that region of Europe.
I think that extremes in either direction, generally, are to be avoided. Nobody needs a country that is completely of one flavor, and none of those exist or ever have. However, it's normal for a majority of the citizens of a country to share a common language and a common set of values, and to identify as a unique people based on these facets of human society, because, over time, and regardless of where their ancestors came from, they developed that language and set of values that bind themselves together. It's normal for outsiders to come to live with that majority and, eventually, to integrate with it. It's NOT normal for a group of people with a common identity and common language and common values, to suddenly become ashamed of that reality and then deny it and do their best to obliterate it and themselves as a people. Yet it's happening all over the West. What compels this strange behavior? Yes, @Ironick45, I mean EXACTLY those states you have named.
Why do I have to explain this?
The word "ethnostate" belongs to that set of words that have been recently and specifically and artificially designed to inject confusion and disarray into ideas which were previously clear to most people not long ago, and this set of words has been very effective. These ideas that are now under attack were so clear that the majority understood them without the need for explanation or articulation, yet now we find ourselves so confused that we are unable to articulate previously simple, bedrock ideas ("What is a woman?" Indeed, Mat Walsh. Indeed.). That is the purpose of this artificial set of words. There comes a time, though, when that majority of people which are not globalists should start waking up (getting woke?) to the deadly game being played with their sense of reality.
How do you combat the use of these made-up and purposefully nebulous words? By co-opting them or rejecting them, or both at the same time. It's bad to be an ethnostate, yet your country is being called one just for being what it is? You can react by trying to destroy yourself to avoid that recently-created and purposefully-denigrative label, or you can embrace it and turn that word into a positive. Or you can reject it. Or both.
I can think of no more diverse a people than the Jewish People. The number or languages spoken by this people includes most of the languages of the current world, and some that are all but extinct if not for the Jews. Physical features? Every shade of skin, eye, hair color. Physiognomy? About as various as can be. What binds the Jewish people together? A common set of values (Torah - yes even the "secular" Jews hold by these values, whether they deny it or not) and a common language (Hebrew, amongst a vast array of other languages), and a common experience. From 12 tribes and an uncountable number of "outsiders", we became one people, especially as seen by the rest of the world. There is only one state in this new world, with this newfangled "state" idea and with these ultra-new-fangled artificial ideas like ethnostate, that is the Jewish State. If that makes Israel an ethnostate, so be it. By the way, literally NONE of "those with foreign roots" that have come to Israel are from countries colonized by Israel.
You can do what you wish with that stupid word ethnostate. But if you want to denigrate Israel or any other state with it, then these states should learn from children: "I'm rubber, you're glue; whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you".
I know you are, but what am I?

@@gcolwill Thanx for your long response, I hope i get everything correct-I see, my english for such political things is not god enough.
The etnostate thing is not important for me, but I am open to learn new (for ME new) political words/subjects.
I think, we are both critic of the "woke" left in Germany called redgreen socialistic idiologie, and support Israel, thats important for me, the rest is more like, philosophie.

Absurd to deny it's an ethnostate. While it's not impossible, there are innumerable impediments to any one but Jews enjoying full rights as citizens. And impediments to anyone but Jews becoming citizens. There are legal hurdles that have to be cleared for anyone not Jewish to lease land from the private JNF, which owns 13 percent of the land in Israel. Possible, but not easy. And the JNF gets paid in cash by the state for any land it is forced to sell against its will to an Arab. There are impediments to any non-Jewish residents of Jerusalem building homes or expanding existing ones or marrying Arab Israeli citizens. If you are a Jew from Texas, you can move to Jerusalem tomorrow and become a citizen. If you are a Palestinian without a Jerusalem ID, it doesn't matter if your family has lived in Jerusalem for 800 years and has a home there. You have no right to return. Meanwhile, if you are Jewish, your path to all these rights and privileges are expedited. The Palestinians living in the territories under the complete de facto control of Israel have no rights at all as citizens although Israel effectively rules over them as their sovereign, dictating every aspect of their lives regarding movement, land ownership, building, employment, use of resources, etc. And they collect and control the distribution of taxes to the PA. Talk about taxation without representation. And they have no sovereign control over land, which is subject to Jewish settlement, and disputes over which are handled by, you guessed it, Israeli courts!! The American revolution started because the British wanted to adjudicate disputes in British courts! And nothing marks membership in a nation more than service in the army, yet no Arab citizens of Israel are eligible for the draft. For goodness sake, the Israel Basic law declares that Israel is the "national home of the Jewish people." Imagine if the US constitution said, "We the Anglo-Saxon, Christian people of the United States."

Arab Muslim Israelis can volunteer for the IDF, & this happens more & more often as time goes on.
There are privileges Muslim Israelis get that Jewish Israelis don't get; like exemption from military duty, & more financial & tutorial support to go to college. That's why such a high percentage of Israeli doctors, dentists, & nurses are Israeli Muslims. They get more support to enter school, & complete it.
Ironically there is one Sharia court in the Muslim quarter of Jerusalem. In my imagination Muslim Israeli men go there for a divorce, because sharia law favors men's rights over those of women, but I suspect Muslim women who want a divorce go to secular Israeli lawyers, because women would have more rights in that court system.

You compare saying the Shahada three times, or soaking yourself in a bath, under the intimidation of the masses?
If it gives you unfair opportunities, then go for it!
Jews don't chase you, you will have long process of meeting with a Rabbi,
He will want to have the impression of better reasons than 'I think it will give me benefits'
You will lose all other identities you carry,
You will be hated, but your offsprings could leave only by mix-marrying gentiles if you are a male,
Even then Germany would consider them Jewish.
The different character of "covertion" is responsible for the fact that Judaism is in the size of ethnicity,
Most people born that way for ages,
And Islam and Christianity are giants, and are in addition of having ethnicity,
namely, one remained ethno-religion, the other two never been.
