Always appreciate these summaries.
Thanks! I appreciate your engagement.
A bunch of different schools getting together to fight demons sounds like a RWBY campaign
Please keep doing these summaries! Your delivery is wonderful pace and you bring together all the comments from the long steam which I can never seem to find the time for
Thank you, I appreciate you watching!
I'm always happy to see your summation video pop up. Keep up the great work!
Thanks, will do!
I wonder how many new wizard schools we will get from Rival Academies alone
At least 1 (Mangambiyaa) plus another pseudo school that is tied into the Thassalonian Sin-magic thing (potentially 7 more, they were cagy about saying how it worked.)
@@PsiPrimeProductions1 Yeah, they've been surprisingly cagey with what specific character options are in this book, compared to, say, Divine Mysteries' hype. I still want the book regardless, but still
Runelord magic is a wizard class archetype
@@aqure9 Right, they were kind of cagey about how they said it, but from what I gather, part of the Runelord archetype is that you have to choose one of the new schools of magic (thassalonian sin magic). Kinda like how battle harbingers get a kinda-sorta different doctrine (cleric subclass) incorporated into their cleric class archetype.
I was at a gaming convention this weekend, so I missed the live this time. Your video summaries of the Paizo Lives are GREAT!
Thanks! I'm really glad you like them.
Thanks for this.
No prob!
NPC Core is SUPER hype. Replacement spell lists and etc are gonna be pretty cool. I could see some easy foundry module integration there or IRL some really nice tables to read off. Excited about the ancestry adjustments and approach. I am already a troop enjoyer and to hear they're supporting it is pretty cool, I'm sure it's a convenience change or something. And I am more hyped than friggin anything to hear what Paizo is doing over in New Thassilon and hear some of the lore of what they've been doing to turn around all the sin in the rune magic for the archetype! Interested to see/hear where they're going with that incoming for the Runesmith class later.
I am also SUPER excited for Claws of The Tyrant. I love the shorter adventures (I've almost played them all now.) and it's just right up my alley with the locale choices and the Arazni lore!
For me, personally, the modules are hit-or-miss. Crown of the Kobold king was fun, but I HATED Malevolence. Just an unfun slog that almost TPKed our pretty well-constructed party several times through no fault of our own. I mean, if others liked it, fine, but our group did not.
@@PsiPrimeProductions1 Currently doing Malevolence. (at the 2/3rd way mark) Having the opposite experience entirely. But, I added NPC's and a old desnan church to serve as a hub outside the manor and I didn't do it just "your at a manor" I did a month of pre-sessions of how we ended up at the manor. But, I have a similar opinion of yours to some of the higher level ones.
Crown of the kobold king is pretty good, but its an oldie. My favorite of the adventures is Rusthenge. It perfectly encapsulates the "Small Island Heroes" trope and gives even new pc's/gm's great reasons to care about the world around them and it just gets a party setup to go on afterwards to a great time into seven dooms or otherwise. And it touches on the runelords lore in ways that a newcomer could start to get interested in it.
2:40 that goblin art is amazing and I want it
Download is in the description. You can even download a version without the text, and maybe use a background remover to isolate the art by itself.
Thanks for the summary! I watched most of the stream, but this really helps as a recap. I’m looking forward to your eventual videos on the new classes!
I will be doing those videos, but NGL I'm kinda dreading them. No matter what I say, people always seems to take all their complaints out on me. Like, my dude, I don't work for Paizo!
@ I’m so sorry! You absolutely don’t deserve that. Maybe it is a UA-cam culture thing, something which doesn’t happen on smaller, moderated communities? Giving a lower-quality, low-stress analysis with your opinions via a blog (linked via your own community) could work if UA-cam continues to decline.
@ No it's fine. I mean, thank you very much for the thoughts, but it's just the internet being the internet. Any time you put any opinion out online, someone's going to come out of the woodwork to tell you how wrong you are and also that you smell bad and are living your life wrong. Just the era we live in these days. Again, thanks for caring!
I love this summary. Please keep making them ❤
Two things: one, misspelled "prophecy". Two, there is also a PFS2e scenario about the Monastery of Unbreaking Waves, 2-06, if you're interested.
I am gonna be honest, dating rules was not on my bingo card this year
They didn't go into detail, but I think it's more along the lines of . . . like keeping track of how much an NPC likes/hates you. Again, only if you want to use the rules.
Thanks. This was great. You don't need to apologize. Keep up the good work
Thanks for that, but I found I get a lot less hate-comments if I put that little disclaimer in front.
@@PsiPrimeProductions1 Hate comments are great for engagement. The UA-cam algorithm loves spats or conflict. :)
@@alanthomasgramont Bad for my mental health though 😓
@ Ha. Fair enough. Yeah comments can probably wear you out. I suppose it’s a risk when you put yourself out there. Thanks again for the content coverage.
Great stuff! But you need to add links to your Pathfinder Infinite stuff in the description, in your About info (if possible) and in your Community section (which is not currently visible). I want to check this stuff out!
Turns out I've already purchased half of your stuff!
Thanks for reminding me, I knew I was forgetting a link. I'll put it in when I get back to home.
I look forward to your recap each month!
Thank you!
As always, nice video! Thx!!!
Rival Academies looks cool. Always down for more options for wizards and whatnot.
NGL, kinda wanna make a homegame about a bunch of nerds running out into the former worldwound and killing demons for 'research.'
great video! Thanks!!!
You bet!
I love the NPC Core Valentine's. They're really cute.
Me too. And the artwork is great!
I’d love to see some feats for the Wizard, and like three or four schools added.
In the Monk side, revisiting the elemental stances is interesting, IMO they could introduce an Air stance that’s not Wild Winds (level 8 and needs Qi Spells)… but Ironblood Stance and Tangled Forest Stance are both level 8 too. Maybe just remove the Qi Spells requirements? It’s hard to make an Avatar Monk like that lol.
While it doesn't specifically have the air trait, Crane Wing is fairly 'air themed.' Increased jumping distance and increased AC makes me think of a fairly 'airy' fighting style. And with the Student of Perfection archetype, you can literally fly across the battlefield: 2e.aonprd.com/Spells.aspx?ID=545
Small complaint: That squeaking transition sound is kinda jarring, lol. Regardless, thanks for the video!
Squeaking? There is a clicking sound effect, and a zipper. I don't recall any squeaking sound effect, unless something happened when uploading the video.
@@PsiPrimeProductions1 Then it's the zipper noise, idk
