Because, it doesnt matter what theyre doing, its knowing that you were there! and you get the honor to see them live!!! Its still amazing music. And raves are a great place to meet chicks lol
this gig made me laugh so much!!!!! XD They went from something hard like "we are your friends" to something soft like "why can't we be friends"! Nd then gaspard headbanging to it made it the more funnier!
I was there that night, and I have my ticket to see them again at Terminal 5 in nyc. I would much rather see them at Webster Hall again, but w/e, its still Justice.
well they do more that turning the volume on and off Xavier syncs the sounds from his headphones to the music that is played and uses a lot of loops and tempo changes and uses some effects while gaspard entertains and energizes the crowd
I actually have a few different tracks in my collection with that sample in it. Unfortunately I can't find the one that I have actually mixed with in the past. It was a track I bought from beatport probably close to 2 years ago.
these are mixing the music on the spot alot of the time. the skill is still there. i understand that playing instruments live can be challenging but don't put these guys down. anyway, the musics great and they bring something different in their live performances, it isnt just them sticking on a cd or anything!
I believe the countdowns are a sample from Jane Fonda in her workout days....Thomas Bangalter or Bob Sinclair, can't remember who lifted it, but its from like 10 years ago (when Bob Sinclair was still remotely underground)
which song starts at the beginning with 1, 2, 3,4, 5 6, 7, 8, and one?? then after we are your friends, what comes after that with the weird sounds then why can't we be friends?? Just basically, what are all of the songs or sounds tapes used in this??
I wouldn't say a band is mainstream just because they're becoming famous. When I think of mainstream I think of artists / bands that massproduces their music. Often not even writing / making it. Releases single after single. And every freaking song of them is being played every halfhour on the radio. Justice doesn't fill a single of those criterias. But maybe my image of mainstream is wrong.
@wasteconnectionsdude sorry but i might not have listened to Justice as much as Daft Punk, but yet i think both are epic. It's like comparing a guitarist to another guitarist. You can't really say one is better than the other, just one having a different style that one person may like more than the other :)
that cigarette he lights was mine. i was tossing them like they were roses for an encore
Gotta love the Jane Fonda "2 3 4 5 6 7 8 & back" loop, ha
It’s bob sinclar’s gym tonic
@@MrCountPunk technically Thomas Bangalter's gym tonic
Why can't we be friends?
We Are Your Friends!
Just casually having a cig while spinning... what a man.
Can't get enough of this a decade later
they dont just press play, they remix the song live, hence why it sounds different from the original.
Original better
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and Back!!!!!!! Viva la Ed Banger!!
I wish this was a mix I could download or stream in better quality but this gives me chills.
Xavier is a DJ,Gaspard is a Producer!
I am in the front row... and I loved this concert... the disco ball was amazing
I had chills too stylish the French brothers in arms !!
2:23 looks like even Xavier and Gaspard didn't exactly know when the beat will drop :D
Such a great night!!!!!
Because, it doesnt matter what theyre doing, its knowing that you were there! and you get the honor to see them live!!! Its still amazing music. And raves are a great place to meet chicks lol
Amé esta mezcla! Son lo máximo!
this gig made me laugh so much!!!!! XD They went from something hard like "we are your friends" to something soft like "why can't we be friends"! Nd then gaspard headbanging to it made it the more funnier!

He's like the music tech, makes sure everythign sounds the way it's supposed to. Xavier de Rosnay does more of the mixing and effects.
Bob Sinclair & Thomas Bangalter - Gym Tonic
Justice - We Are Your Friends
War - Why Can't We Be Friends

Oh well.. Daft Punk and Justice still rock my world !
I was there that night, and I have my ticket to see them again at Terminal 5 in nyc. I would much rather see them at Webster Hall again, but w/e, its still Justice.
He encourages the public
the hardest shit
He doesnt need to do a thing, he is Epic.
That crowd fail actually sounded kinda cool.
Yes xd
One of these days Xavier is going to look over at Gaspard and realize he's not actually doing anything...
He's the brain behind the keyboard
3:55 Forgot to loop the crowd.
epic :D
offffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff beautiful
4:00 the crowd messed up that one...
BTCRAIL101FILMS Can't blame them though, they couldn't have expected that
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and back :D

At this point the turntable is its own instrument
woa good flow
dope shit
@jiniton he's busy being awesome.
@yiazmat35 Together only made 2 songs throughout the time they were together. So Much Love To Give & Together only.
Most electronic producers do live mixes. They take two or more of their songs and mix them together.
@IneedTodisco THEY WERE PROBABLY HAVING A GREAT TIME
It's the other way around when it comes to producing their music.
I've been looking for a video of this live all night, have you got a link to one?

@dinichio I mean, I guess. They were singing how the song normally would of gone.
why cant we be friends
@15oprey They will back, be sure of that.
Have you checked out their live album?
@SmokedTwinkie well tbe best of it is both Daft Punk and Justice are French
What the track is in the very beginning? With numbers I mean

@ChemicalBrother92 It's okay... We are your friends.

bob sinclar - gym tonic
Nothing can be comparable with underworld live. This seems to be just for kids
beep boop.
@felipescalador
Whats so fun about seeing guys hold down and pluck strings or hit drums with sticks...?
@lumadroid Bob Sinclar ''Gym Tonic'' from ''Paradise''
what version of "Why can't we be friends" is this? and who is it by?
anyone knows what song is at the begining? or its just a sample?

Does anyone know where I can find that "and back 2 3 4 5 6 7 8" sample?
@patwaddington lucky !

Gaspard- "where the fuck am i?"

Haha 12 years later, Hyperdrama is coming soon!
