When I was a young girl my grandmother did this with the scraps , coffee grinds , potato skins, oranges and would put it around the trees and flower beds ,I'd help her and would see how beautiful the flowers and trees looked .🍊🍌🍎🍏🍵 🌼🌻🌼🌱🌳🍃
I love making compost I put live earth worms and black soldier fly larvae to help the food scrapes compost faster and then I can use the organic compost on my plants and trees and as a fertilizer. 👍
Worm (vermi)composting produces an even more potent fertilizer than standard composting, albeit a bit more work. Both are great and you don’t feel as bad when food goes to waste. 🤘🏽
