I think a crest of time would fit Ryo a bit better. Yeah, it's not a virtue per say, but so isn't light (tho Patience would also work). It ties with Milleniumon and the fact that Ryo is basically the character that ties together multiple generations of the early Digimon lore.
Definitely. Empathising can happen with almost anything, and is more Pure and accurate than Love, which can be misguided or corrupted. It's more about the Synchronicity of the Two, the exact thing that produces the Bond Digivolution in the first place.
These were all amazing. Surprisingly, my favorite was Hawkmon's Bond of Caring. All of these artists do great work, and I'm always impressed with the results. If you take away the floating Flamedramon and Raidramon heads, I feel like Veemon Bond of Leadership is what Davis envisioned for Veemon's champion digivolution (when he saw Angemon for the first time).
I love these! I'm so happy you included Willis and the twins, especially with the use of both Destiny and Fate. Since you asked, these are the crest/bond forms I like to use for the 02 kids Cody - Diligence Yolei - Passion Davis - Valor
A few years back, I came up with a way to differentiate between Fate and Destiny; Destiny is the destination, it's the endpoint you reach based on the choices you see at the time, while Fate is more a case of the paths we choose to reach that destiny and our goals. So the best way I can think of to describe it is something like, if Destiny is a building then Fate is the maze we navigate to get to that building.
Love the knightly chestplate design of Terriermon Bond of Destiny and the fact it will fight alongside Lopmon Bond of Fate as sort of a team of Digimon based on duality.
Honestly I don't know why but part of me really wants to see custom Digivolution's for like some of the Contest winning Digimon that got official art, most of them are so amazingly designed (Personal favorite is Pyontomon) but then we're kinda just left with figuring out what their Digivolution's could possibly be, and or what Digimon work for their design.
@@Karn_EX Honestly for Pyontomon specifically, I kinda see it becoming something akin to the Gaomon line, a scrappy fighter, but to spice that up a bit, it would be fun if it was more a streat brawler than a boxer. Heck maybe it could even be a Bancho Digimon, it's kinda just the vibe I got from its art. Plus a Rabbit/Jackalope Bancho Digimon would be sick.
These are all so amazing! I absolutely loved the Veemon bond of Leadership one the most. But now I'm thinking that the only Adventure progression of this seriesshould be Jogressed forms of the Bond forms. Not sure how chaotic that might but I can't help but think about the endless possibiltiies!
This was great, this is fantastic, Wormbond gives me serious Bog King from Strange Magic vibes but personally that's a good thing. I love the idea of Cody Yolei and Davis having Trust Care and Leadership, as well as Willis/Wallace with Fate and Destiny. A+
Great video per usual, Karn Ex! It was certainly an interesting concept to work with in a custom art video. Especially with integrating recurring themes within various digivolutions attributed to these digimon. One of my personal favorites of the custom Digimon in this video is Terriermon: Bond of Destiny, especially in integrating that glowing scarf to the design, which I believe works quite well. I'd also enjoyed the design of Wormon: Bond of Kindness, and Hawkmon: Bond of love, especially with integrating the wings onto the belt, and the purity digiegg for the helmet. Once more, the effort which you and your team puts into your channel's content has paid off greatly! the hair on Wormmon is very reminiscent of the older ichigo(will be a prominent thing in the upcoming Shin Kamen Rider movie as well) where some part of the hair are just visible most times, very nice Veemons pretty cool, love the flame parts as the LED thingies, definitely liking the two armor power, i can really see him do punches with fire and lightning element, quite sick
I appreciate every artist keeping up with the official art’s meticulous attention to abs. None of these designs skip core days! I like the distinction you made with Willis’s Lopmon and Terriermon. Destiny vs fate works so well with the two. I especially like seeing a typically negative concept being used in a productive, heroic manner. I think Hawkmon is my favorite. I love the pallet between the red and greens and the inclusion of the kunai is a nice touch.

These were all incredible designs! Every one of them slapped. I like a lot of the bonds names for them. The only one I thought up was for Veemon, called Bond of Valor. Hey, I had an idea for a video you could do. What about making entire Digivolution Families for the Royal Knights. They're my favourite group in Digimon and whilst Alphamon, Gallentmon, Jesmon and UlforceVeedramon have actual evolution families, I'd love to see your take on full lines for the rest of them. I get that making a full line for them would probably be expensive, but I'd still love to see evolutions for at least a few of them.
I'll add some names. Cody: I think bond of trust is very good no change there. Yolei: Hawkmon Bond of Protection. I think Considering her role in the show, and combining love and purity and her desire to keep her friends safe, protection feels appropriate. Davis: Veemon Bond of Victory. It's just too easy and sounds perfect. David won't ever give up, in the dimension of dreams he was the first to generate all his evolutions as he refused to accept defeat, malomyotismon had no affect on his determination. Plus with Veemons name it was too easy to not go with Victory
Have we ever seen the other possible DNA digivolutions in 02? I know we saw like reversed ones like Dinobeemon...but what about different DNA partners? Like Veemon Gatomon? Or...01 DNA Digivolutions?
For Yolei and Hawkmon's bond name, I was thinking of something like Bond of Conviction I think what you described about caring was already what they were going for with the crest of love. And my idea of combining love and purity/sincerity that elevates them to the next step would be conviction; you love something or someone so purely/sincerely that it has become a part of your life and inform how you live

Please someone hears Karn and 02: The Begenning doesn't repeat this xD Maybe it is that I try to keep things simple, or not thinking too much... But I would have used both crests to those who have more than one digimental :/ Example: Veemon Bond of Courage and Friendship :p As convoluted as it sounds... The names you picked are fine though. I liked the concepts you came up with reminiscent of combining two crests. And I really liked the name Lopmon Bond of Fate for Lopmon. I see your reasoning and I think it's great. And here's another idea with the tag and crusts allow them to turn their Digimon into the ultimate and mega forms they can also DNA digivolve them using those forms and maybe even having a couple different versions of the ultimate and mega depending on if one or both of the Digidestined use the tags and crusts to digievolve them
hi karn, i have a suggestion here. you know when they introduce a digimon in the anime they usually have this computer interface displaying the digimon's level, type, and special technique. i think it'd be a nice touch if you use a similar format for your fanmade digimon videos. i don't know how much work that would need for just a little touch though. great content as always keep it up!

12:33 ... its gold armor is on the wrists/forearms not shoulders/upper arm... those sir are Vambraces. Regardless these are all pretty beautiful/amazing. Bond of Leadership summoned heads reminds me a little of Gankoomon... probably my favorite, Caring is a close second though. Whole hearted agreement on the Destiny V Fate thing... one is something to strive towards, the other... the other is inevitable.
So, I’m down for the new Bond Evos, but here’s what I would name them. Veemon - Bond of Heroics (you know damn well Davis would wanna call it something cool like that) Armadillomon - Bond of Realism (Armadillomon keeps Cody pretty grounded, so combine that relationship with Cody’s intelligence, sincerity, and responsible mind set, and Armadillomon could harness that straightforward realism and pragmatism to dish out a walloping.) Hawkmon - Bond of Compassion (Same idea as “Caring,” combining the sincere, pure honesty Yolei displays with the love she holds for her friends… and Ken.)
Last Evolution's Bond Evolution is certainly a very interesting yet weird method of Evolution, but it's worth it to see these designs. Would like to see other series besides Adventure get this treatment. Also, question: besides the Vital Bracelet used as a Digivice, what other idea has Bandai not explored yet for Digivices? I'm really curious.
A great batch here but know curious of what the crests of trust, care and leadership (which i would personally call heroism, as in most cases Tai, Matt and Davies are the ones to ultimately "save the day") could armor digivoled to. thanks for reading if you did.
OK this is not fair I can't really say my favorites because as much as I'm not a big fan of the 2nd season I do love all of these bond evolutions. Heck at the very least I can definitely feel that these could definitely fix my issues with season 2 and that was with the character development of the main characters from season one except for TK and Kari. These all scream each of their individual digieggs and partners and they just fit overall. Plus I can just imagine a really cool battle which would have the season one bond evolution partners teaming up with the season 2 bond evolution partners to fight some evil digimon is gonna take over the world or something or could really destroy the multi verse as a whole..... God I would read that fan fiction if it was written well lol. Great job on all of these to the artists and Karn for the video!
Yesss i was waiting for this! Also, i don't hate Bond Evolutions, i just don't like their names, i mean, get creative with the names at least. So i decided to give these 02 Bonds Evo some new names just as i did in the last Bond Evolution Video. Armadillomon: Crushmon Hawkmon: Hanzomon Terriermon and Lopmon: StrikeRapidmon and CrazyWendigomon Wormmon: RaiderStingmon Veemon: Leaderdramon.
We don't know a lot of the dark digimon eggs. It would be so cool if you made a video of the 01 being impacted by these or the 02 cast using them if they feel to darkness
Hmm, i don't know why but Bond Forms of Terriermon and Lopmon don't look weird at all. My favourite Bond Forms are of Terriermon, Lopmon, Veemon and Hawkmon, i realy like the two ,, stands '' of Veemon Bond of Leadership, which reminds me of the two ,,stands '' of Goddramon. Very cool video, let's hope TIME AFTER TIME doesn't activate and we won't see Bonds in the new Digimon 02 Movie.
I recall hearing that the DNA digivolutions are the natural ultimate evolutions of Veemon, Hawkmon, and Armadillomon, so I'm a bit confused by them not being included in the bond designs... That said, all of these designs are incredible! :D
It’s been a long time since we were discussing the bond evos, but I. An give an answer that at least makes sense to me. For wormbond, while pulling from Paildramon would have been relatively easy, but doing so would not only make the angle ones feel out of place, as they did not pull from their jogresses, but would then in turn potentially make Veebond and wormbond a bit too samey. Using only the armors or “canon,” evos for the mons made for more unique designs. The other reason, likely Karn’s thought process, is that bond forms are created from the bond between a tamer and their partner. As such, it makes sense that the bond forms represent the forms derived purely from those bonds between the two, rather than the bonds between pairs. This is also why wormbond had to pull from unofficial evos, as he couldn’t be the only one pulling from the jogresses, but Stingmon, kongomon, and by him on did not give me much to go off of.

Have we ever seen the other possible DNA digivolutions in 02? I know we saw like reversed ones like Dinobeemon...but what about different DNA partners? Like Veemon Gatomon? Or...01 DNA Digivolutions?
For Yolei and Hawkmon's bond name, I was thinking of something like Bond of Conviction
I think what you described about caring was already what they were going for with the crest of love. And my idea of combining love and purity/sincerity that elevates them to the next step would be conviction; you love something or someone so purely/sincerely that it has become a part of your life and inform how you live
Incredible designs all of them, no doubt! (Even if I'm not a fan of what Kizuna did Agumon's and Gabumon's last evolution...)

Maybe it is that I try to keep things simple, or not thinking too much... But I would have used both crests to those who have more than one digimental :/ Example: Veemon Bond of Courage and Friendship :p As convoluted as it sounds...
The names you picked are fine though. I liked the concepts you came up with reminiscent of combining two crests. And I really liked the name Lopmon Bond of Fate for Lopmon. I see your reasoning and I think it's great.

I've always used Loyalty for Davis, Integrity for Cody, and Tenacity/Determination for Yolei.
And here's another idea with the tag and crusts allow them to turn their Digimon into the ultimate and mega forms they can also DNA digivolve them using those forms and maybe even having a couple different versions of the ultimate and mega depending on if one or both of the Digidestined use the tags and crusts to digievolve them

hi karn, i have a suggestion here. you know when they introduce a digimon in the anime they usually have this computer interface displaying the digimon's level, type, and special technique. i think it'd be a nice touch if you use a similar format for your fanmade digimon videos. i don't know how much work that would need for just a little touch though. great content as always keep it up!
When you discussed if Cody's Crest would be "Trust" I felt like laughing, because in English, Joe's Crest is Reliability, but in Portuguese it is already "Trust".

Oh a veemon bond evolution is so cool it looks like it could beat apocalymon on its own
12:33 ... its gold armor is on the wrists/forearms not shoulders/upper arm... those sir are Vambraces. Regardless these are all pretty beautiful/amazing. Bond of Leadership summoned heads reminds me a little of Gankoomon... probably my favorite, Caring is a close second though.
Whole hearted agreement on the Destiny V Fate thing... one is something to strive towards, the other... the other is inevitable.

So, I’m down for the new Bond Evos, but here’s what I would name them.
Veemon - Bond of Heroics (you know damn well Davis would wanna call it something cool like that)
Armadillomon - Bond of Realism (Armadillomon keeps Cody pretty grounded, so combine that relationship with Cody’s intelligence, sincerity, and responsible mind set, and Armadillomon could harness that straightforward realism and pragmatism to dish out a walloping.)
Hawkmon - Bond of Compassion (Same idea as “Caring,” combining the sincere, pure honesty Yolei displays with the love she holds for her friends… and Ken.)
I always considered love and sincerity would be more of compassion than caring
love all of them, but especially worm mon. my only question, do the 02 bond digimon DNA digivolve? or is that to over powered?
I was thinking Hawkmon bond of beauty. I was thinking more Love and Purity but it works for love and sincerity really well!

I also have the Hawkmon armor set! Though I'm still missing the Sincerity one to make Shurimon. Shame it's so rare!
Last Evolution's Bond Evolution is certainly a very interesting yet weird method of Evolution, but it's worth it to see these designs.
Would like to see other series besides Adventure get this treatment.
Also, question: besides the Vital Bracelet used as a Digivice, what other idea has Bandai not explored yet for Digivices? I'm really curious.
A great batch here but know curious of what the crests of trust, care and leadership (which i would personally call heroism, as in most cases Tai, Matt and Davies are the ones to ultimately "save the day") could armor digivoled to. thanks for reading if you did.
OK this is not fair I can't really say my favorites because as much as I'm not a big fan of the 2nd season I do love all of these bond evolutions. Heck at the very least I can definitely feel that these could definitely fix my issues with season 2 and that was with the character development of the main characters from season one except for TK and Kari. These all scream each of their individual digieggs and partners and they just fit overall. Plus I can just imagine a really cool battle which would have the season one bond evolution partners teaming up with the season 2 bond evolution partners to fight some evil digimon is gonna take over the world or something or could really destroy the multi verse as a whole..... God I would read that fan fiction if it was written well lol. Great job on all of these to the artists and Karn for the video!

Also, i don't hate Bond Evolutions, i just don't like their names, i mean, get creative with the names at least. So i decided to give these 02 Bonds Evo some new names just as i did in the last Bond Evolution Video.
Armadillomon: Crushmon
Hawkmon: Hanzomon
Terriermon and Lopmon: StrikeRapidmon and CrazyWendigomon
Wormmon: RaiderStingmon
Veemon: Leaderdramon.
We don't know a lot of the dark digimon eggs. It would be so cool if you made a video of the 01 being impacted by these or the 02 cast using them if they feel to darkness

Hmm, i don't know why but Bond Forms of Terriermon and Lopmon don't look weird at all.
My favourite Bond Forms are of Terriermon, Lopmon, Veemon and Hawkmon, i realy like the two ,, stands '' of Veemon Bond of Leadership, which reminds me of the two ,,stands '' of Goddramon.

I recall hearing that the DNA digivolutions are the natural ultimate evolutions of Veemon, Hawkmon, and Armadillomon, so I'm a bit confused by them not being included in the bond designs...
That said, all of these designs are incredible! :D
It’s been a long time since we were discussing the bond evos, but I. An give an answer that at least makes sense to me.
For wormbond, while pulling from Paildramon would have been relatively easy, but doing so would not only make the angle ones feel out of place, as they did not pull from their jogresses, but would then in turn potentially make Veebond and wormbond a bit too samey. Using only the armors or “canon,” evos for the mons made for more unique designs.
The other reason, likely Karn’s thought process, is that bond forms are created from the bond between a tamer and their partner. As such, it makes sense that the bond forms represent the forms derived purely from those bonds between the two, rather than the bonds between pairs. This is also why wormbond had to pull from unofficial evos, as he couldn’t be the only one pulling from the jogresses, but Stingmon, kongomon, and by him on did not give me much to go off of.
