Went to Hanayama Udon in Dec 2023. So worth it! Love the place and got 3 boxes of Udon as christmas present before leaving. Definitely going back again when i go back to Japan!

I have not been able to find Udon noodles here in the Philippines but when I still lived in Canada there was an Asian grocery store that always had frozen ones. We went to Shin Udon the first time we were in Japan. SO GOOD. But the versions you and your friends had looked better than what we had. We went more simple.
Straight up thought that was whipped cream on the udon at that third location though..😂

Heheh yes it is!! It is soooo compact and it was my first time filming with it on a trip. I like how portable it is but I would say the quality suffers a little compared to bringing along my big dslrs!!
@@CupofTJ We've been using the DJI2, but want to upgrade for the dual mics! The whole discreet factor is by far the best part. We're still awkward AF when we film, so it makes things so much easier..😂

Wow, never seen these types of udon in the US, especially the fat flat noodles. I would certainly order udon instead of ramen if these are on the menu.
I got the Carbonara Udon with Bacon Tempura at Udon Shin too! Back in 2019 when I went it was a special and wasn’t a mainstay on the menu yet! I loved it and it was so memorable. I think at the time the wait wasn’t so crazy, I waited around 30-45 mins tops. I’ve recommended the spot to Tokyo visitors ever since.
