And im looking to buy a good playseat of some sort, could you help me out with choosing one? Im aiming for one thats around the 200 to 300 euros, just to start off with.
Hey viper, you have problems doing heel & toe downshifts? Because i can do h&t in every game but in gtsport when i press de gas doing downshift the gear selector doesn't work and stays in the same gear for a sec and the revs goes down too like in neutral, anyone can help? My english is bad, i know and this is a little hard to explain.
i had a race at La Sarthe, Mustang Gr3 against my 700 hp DBR9 GT1, it was clean af, using blinkers, racing line, STAYING in your lane and dont close the others.. it was everything, im never gonna forget this one
I saw a couple of miss shifts in the 1st race. I have the same issue and I thought the problem was in me or in my G29 shifter. I don't have that problem in PCars2 and rarely in Assetto... in real track days, i never missed a shift so far... so i guess GT Sport and the Shifters, doesn't work properly?!
My overall observations from the first race are, you brake early and for to long, brake in a straight line and be at the speed you need to take a corner before you enter it so you can be completely off the brakes through the corner and optimal acceleration out of the apex and, you need to heel-toe your down shifts on the low speed corners, on the comment regarding late braking, When you get on the brakes late and take an early apex onto a straight it gives you marginally more space to accelerate allowing a higher speed coming into the next corner hence a lower time from corner to corner overall
They need to fix the miss shift problem in Gran Turismo, if you have even a bit of throttle applied when changing gears it causes the gears not to go in.
That race on Redbull Ring was great, some close calls and I was surprised I got the fastest lap with my driving xD But its a pity you didn't show the first race, that was clean apart from the final corner tbh

I think it's a question of timing, and GT sport is more demanding in this case.
