Chest Training To Its Limit... James Hollingshead & Anth Bailes

  • It's not like you can plan for injury. Training in and of itself is pushing the limit to keep getting stronger, bigger and faster. Here unfortunately, Anth Bailes suffered what appears to be a tricep tear... during a bodybuilding bro trip (to add insult to injury).
    "Things like this happen, its unfortunate but we'll get it sorted."
    After Anth's injury, James was persuaded to continue since according to Anth, there was nothing that could be done in the moment... James finished his workout and provided cues for some of his lifts.

    Exact same thing happened to me EXACTLY 2 years ago! What sucks is it was the tricep that I showed the judges! Never been the same unfortunately. Wishing Anth a fast recovery!

    Woke up to this email newsletter about this video today and it hit different. Tore my hamstring yesterday (have it on video 😣). Struggling to walk right now and feeling absolutely devastated. I never thought an injury like this would happen to me. Speedy recovery Anth.

    For a sec, I was feeling good. I’m like “I lift 55lb dumbbells and they’re only doing 65!!!”… nah my boy, that’s 95. Oh well, I’m more than 50% there. I’ll take it as a W… 3:16 ohh! Lol

    Hasnt this Anth suffered ill health and injuries before? Surely at this point training in such a fashion when there is virtually no benefit/reward, isnt the smartest way to go about?

      If you train for 30 + years you will pick up injuries.These were just standard weight bells for me.Nothing out of the ordinary.Wear and tear gets everyone eventually 🙏
