Coming from a game full of toxic people, dota 2, the people in this game just made me kinder with all the tips and tricks you can find both inside and outside the game. Found myself showing the way to a fellow looter a w-crate he just missed. Damn wholesome community this game has for chill gamers.
I went kind of a super comfy goofy direction with this gun. The Icy Rain gives pretty ridiculous constant healing if you use the Frosty Blessing mod. I did go for the massive mag size for the other comfy aspect of never needing to reload. Definitely not the highest dmg output route, but I still find it to be pretty decent. The nice thing is that you can face tank anything that doesn't one-shot you. Since there are 3 Frost Vortex, and when you have very high crit rate, vortex is going off constantly (as you've shown) The problem with using the mask mod Lingering Frost is that the vortex gets reset every time a new one procs after the 3rd. So the damage never gets a chance to stack up unless you shoot and move. So it can be good there. The Frost Vortex damage itself isn't that great, but the spikes added from the Frost Tactical Vest are pretty damn good. Anyway, started to ramble off topic. It's seriously goofy how well this thing can heal you. I'm basically just using this until I get my Abyss Glance, but may still keep it just for the healing. Great video, I def learned a few things. So, you definitely got my like and subscribe :)
Use a crit mod on the mask (or status) not only are mask mods super hard to farm, nothing really works well with the icy rain since the vortexs arent up very long.
@@darixenous_shadowscale i know thats the reason i said no mask mod works well with it since its either duration, or enemies inside vortex. Go with a crit blue mod for mask.
Thought id mention that the blessing weapon mod that heals u for 10% after a vortex means like 3 go off so when they end u get 30% hp back, stack that with rejuv, and u literally feel unkillable in just about everything lol

Paper dmg seems lower than I feel like it actually acts in realworld fights, I haven't been out damaged yet in prime wars, often double-triple the next highest damage, lol

Well u start with rustic and blast. Good enough easily till t5 aka lv40. By that point u want to look for ur builds set. Falcon and heavy duty are in alot of these. Alot of ppl think agent is good for phase 1.
Hi. Yea i would have to check that interactive map and loot all mystical crates. Also complete side quests to get the cubes for starchrom trade. The game is pretty rng, you get what ? 50 dungeon keys or a lil more per week? And even if you target farm modules for your gear, you still have to deal with the rng of affixes which can be sometimes only pve, sometimes 2 for pvp or more....
its feels strange.. u want to do ele dmg mods, but same time gun forces u to make just crit \ crit dmg mods and ele dmg from vortex just a sweet small bonus.. anyway, thx for this great guide and sheet with mods
What gun is the best for PVE? Now i'm running power surge build with the MP7 and honestly, I'm melting everything, players and bosses, I'm saving to try the last valor but I don't know man, I can't make a decision hahahaha

@@ccr6805elemental, you can also test this with the gloves mod, one gives 18% elemental, the other 20% status, and the elemental outperforms it, so focus on that.

crit rate really is super important for this build, around 50% or you wont get the vortex procs and the ammo refil, around that and you shouldnt need to ever reload on bosses, though the dps isnt the best, highest i got was 19k on the dummy unbuffed, super fun for clearing content, just lacks on bosses.
@@Doomeris if you use the hp gun mod for it too you wont really die on any content currently, i just like watching bosses melt quicker with the mp7 surge build.

Hey doom great vid. I know the builds(mp7 and jaws) are close but you said correct gear can outplay de jaws. Are you talking about status dmg reduction or which kind of gear (Im up to wait if this is a question for future videos) ty
SMG is better in terms of DPS. Crits trigger Frost Vortex. With a crit build, you'd constantly see the Frost Vortex proc and do insane AoE damage to mobs and bosses. And everytime you proc Frost Vortex you reload 15% of your bullets. I have the build and i basically don't have to stop shooting. Downside, you eat through bullets. The Rifle only triggers Frost Vortex everytime you hit an enemy 20x. Sure it has a higher base damage than the SMG but in terms of DPS SMG wins. But maybe when built right could probably be good. There are mods and calibrations which raises your fire rate for the Rifle, so you can proc Frost Vortex more often.
@@TMO_22silly little noob, those Violent mods give Crit damage, not crit rate. Make sure that your weapon is calibrated to level 10 and your calibration has 2 crit rate sub stats. That alone will give you ~15% crit rate. Also make sure to have crit amp gloves and maybe 2 blue crit mods.

all ice gun mods are on the lvl 10 boss ( on Hard mode ) i would recommend the healing mod (Frost Blessing -> when frost vortex desappears restore 10% of hp) have been using this build on pve and it is definitely the king in pve, i can simply tank the boss like his nothing
If you want a bullseye weapon that's easy to trigger, the gold AWS is your best bet. It always triggers bullseye the first shot after swapping. But the reason people use the Recurve bow is because it also give you critical hit rate against the marked target.
I tried to use this gun over the KAM(ak) the frost vortex dmg on the KAM was ticking for 1.8k min dmg increasing with mod. And with the icy rain the frost vortex dmg only ticks for 400-600, it feels to low. Is the kan not viable ?

The absolute META build is the shrapnel hands down. META is the most efficient tactic available, and shrapnel is by far the easiest to get into since you can get it from the wish machine through the Last Valors seasonal jackpot, which makes it the cheapest and easiest weapon for its high DPS to get by far. If you want highest DPS though, it'd probably go to the MP7S Power Surge SMG
Gamble for blueprint parts and upgrade the blueprints for the armour. This build uses Psi so making sure your armor has the most stars will up its DPS.

bullseye applies 8% vulnerability when marking enemies, if you put the 8% mod it will be 16% making them receive even more damage, so yes your icy rain will do more damage if they're marked

Wouldnt it be more accurate to show without as thats the consistent dps you will reach pvp as your deviant will not be active all the time. Covered advance buffs just work for 4s, and to win this you need to take no damage for 30s, they made a mistake in description
it works for 30 seconds, you cant take damage for 4 seconds..

@@PerzyYT weak point damage and status focus. 3 piece shelter, frost tactical vest (because i don’t have the others), two piece heavy duty. It puts out good numbers
after 40 runs on the hound, im convinced the Cryo Blast Mod doesnt exist

Why do you always inflate your damage with the deviant cradle at the start of the video to demonstrate dps? Wouldnt it be more accurate to show without as thats the consistent dps you will reach pvp as your deviant will not be active all the time. It gives off false data that ignorant people will build off of and wonder why they have such a big gap in dps from you. Kinda a weird ego flex thing?
i mean if they decide to make an entire build of a 10 second clip without watching the video to see the unbuffed dps i guess thats on them?
