I just realized, if a newbie clicks on this video and tried to grasp the concepts and lingo that Dave & Shan uses...it will be utter confusion. This "OPS" is like a language with different dialects. You need to not only learn the system, but the slang and jargon to fit in. I've been learning OPS for about 2½ months now. It's a roller coaster of emotions and thoughts.
I’ve been following you guys for close to 5 years now. Y’all have done an amazing job and I’m really grateful, since your content has helped me understand myself and others so much better. I wish you nothing but success and happiness 😊
Interesting how the activation of your middle functions shapes the voids you leave with the people around you. Jumpers' 2nd functions are strong but still underutilised. In some ways, it's nice having your top 2 functions masculine and double activated (speaking from experience). But you can come across as delusional, especially when those saviours are "intuition" and Di. You have to be quite decisive about using the flimsy 3rd and 4th functions when they are both very triggering.
The understanding smile at 2:37 from you guys bahahaha. Immediately was like "oh shoot she just found Fi" I LOVE watching you guys type people using your system!
Okay, just watched it once, I think this is very important, but somehow it completely went over my head because there's so much going on in this video and you're flipping the examples halfway. So after the first watch, I *think* it means that your third function can somehow be harder than your fourth function, but I didn't understand how that works with the coins. I do think this might apply to me, especially after you said that the "hardest" function can mostly be a problem for the people around you while you don't really care about it. I think, going by this description, that Se is my 3rd function, and my "hardest". People very often complain that I'm not paying attention and forgetting about things 10 seconds after I said "yes", but I find myself not bothered by it in the slightest. It's the Fe stuff that gives me irrational panic attacks, even though I seem to be reasonably smooth at it when the moment actually comes and then it's a big relief. And next time it's that insane terror all over again.
@@SimpleAmadeus Dang, I skipped that Sensory, you explained demon Fe, not Te. One thing that I realized is that, because of the nature of the raw material and the edition, these videos have a lot of "extra material" (all the nonsense chitchat and Dave off-topic out-of-the-blue comments, as welcomed as these are) that can be a "little bit" confusing and hard to consume (Dave trying to do some Consume/Play?). Talking about the coins, I think this pattern gives more light on how to spot the function coins, but not so much about spotting the animals directly. What do you think?
@@Sturm1619 What I'm not sure about is what makes a function the "worst". Looking at the checklist again, I think it might be that her Ni is "double NOT activated"? Because sleep and blast are her bottom two animals. I think I'm sleep consume though, which would make my Fe bottom function also the worst one. So either my self-typing is wrong (very possible) or I still don't understand what they're talking about in the video (also very possible). In general "double activation" is the final part of the OP system that I just don't understand at all.
"A blast-last INTJ is using their Se for consume in a savior state" Yeah this pretty much confirms that I'm missing something big here lol. So this would be an Ni/Fi-SC/P(B), and somehow that Consume in second place makes the 4th Se function like a savior? I didn't think bottom functions could be saviors. There's definitely something about animals that I'm missing completely.
