It was the best fun on the V85 I've had so far, I have no off road background, so I guess I bought the bike with dreams of the future - beware what you wish for 😂😉👍
@@rememberitsallagame I am exactly the same. Zero off-road done in my life. always had naked bikes. Although I have owned a Mk1 Multistrada and Tiger in my time. But My mate & I have big ideas about wild camping and greenlaning.. Hence the messing around on the beach & Gravel lannes around me in my last few vids
How's that touring windshield working out? Any buffeting with it so you added the spoiler on top? The small screen on my v85 isn't really doing much for me.
Ok, my bike came with the touring screen, and speeds above 60mph the buffeting was awful, I added the deflector and everything is good, no buffeting and great protection from wind - I am considering getting a low screen for the summer, as I'm most used to naked bikes 👍
@@rememberitsallagame Thanks for the reply! I used the small screen with a deflector on a 5500km tour last year. It was doable. Ventilation in the summer heat is great but its just so very noisy!
@@Muffin1280 I had the small screen and found the same thing as you Marvin, easily doable but very noisy, great for ventilation though and I'll use it in summer. I got a big screen which is also fine and less pressure on upper body but just as noisy. I put a spoiler on it and it's fine now. I'm 6'3 (190cm). Think I'll just keep swapping between them, summer and winter, touring and cruising. Helmets make a difference to the buffeting and noise too. A nice smooth Shoei full face is fine with the small screen, unfortunately I also wear a shark Evo flip front and it's super noisy Guzzi open or closed. I get through a lot of ear plugs!
Fun video thank you! Waiting for spring so I can spend more time on my '22 V5 TT Centenario! Washington State in US.
Like the music choice too.
Looks fun.

What did you use to replace the front mudguard?
I used an oval number board, riveted to a couple of L brackets, using the original mudguard fixings
