There could be two reasons for proximity scanner in front display. 1) To take call from cover display 2) To avoid occidental touches by turning off display

@TechBar Proximity sensors are used to gauge the distance between the phone and a surface like our head or hand, it is useful when you take a call and bring the phone close to your face, the screen automatically turns off. Try taking a phone call on the cover display and bring the phone closer to your face or hand.
Specifically for this phone, it is uses for accidental touch protection so that it doesn't trigger anything accidentally from the outer screen display.

actually cover display mein agar koi call receive kiya jate to wo automatically loudspeaker pe hone lagta hai
and receiver to andar hai to waisa kaam nehi hai
but ye accidental touch protection dega
taki phone jab pocket mein ho tab random contact se display se kuch run na ho jaye 😊😊

Proximity Sensor on the cover display might be to turn off the Always-on-Display, when the phone is in a pocket or kept somewhere with the display facing downwards...

The proximity sensor in the cover screen is most likely for mis touch prevention feature for the outer screen
It's display of Samsung is not precise enough. Many false-negstive touches wasting lot of time! I doubt this review.
How's is the battery back-up in high usage nd what's the stand by battery drop and how does this kind of display last over time?
The proximity sensor will disable AOD under the pocket, and saves battery

Very Nice Review. Was thinking of buying it. How long the battery will survive after full charge if my usage is what's app and attending 25 phone calls and two Microsoft Teams Meeting. I like to use for office. I have Iphone for my personal usage. It's good to carry also. What do you suggest.
