I have absolutely loved the Hosanna Revival Bible! It’s been my daily use bible since I got it and I’m still obsessed with it. I prefer it to a typical journaling bible for sure.

I’m 17 years old I’ve been a Christian for little over a year now. I’ve been collecting bibles and trying out different translations in that time. I just purchased the Hosanna Revival KJV that you showed and I was shocked by the size too lol but so far, I love it. I’m not too familiar with the KJV and it’s a little hard to comprehend at times but I love the way it flows and I’m excited to learn and journal in it. If you have any advice/tips on understanding the language used in the KJV, please let me know :) thank you!!
I suggest ESV study bible if KJV is hard to understand , and even easier is CSB. If you like it to be close to KJV try NKJV, load the bible apps onto the phone or tablet to try before you buy.
@@kathydemara3245 Hi! I ended up getting the ESV journaling study Bible a few weeks after I posted this comment. I absolutely love it and you’re right, it’s super easy to understand! It also has journaling space which is perfect. Sadly, I ended up returning the KJV because it was too difficult for me at this time. Thank you so much for your suggestions. God bless you!
I watched your video and then watched it again with my husband. I wanted him to see your husband's bible. It turns out my husband has the same exact bible. We spent time going through all you showed in the back. We wanted to get my son one just like it but they quit putting all the references in the back. So disappointing. It was a great video. Thanks!
I have the turquoise kjv cross reference study Bible. I love it, it's a great affordable option for a study Bible that is also beautiful. I keep mine in a case so that it didn't get dirty and I also got floral tabs to mark the books.
I have the softcover floral version of this study Bible and it’s surprisingly great quality. I use the notes for Bible journaling all the time, it’s definitely an amazing Bible 😊
Didn't know Holman made KJV journalling bibles (knew they made CSBs, but I don't care about the CSB). My own journalling bible is from Church Bible Publishers - a bit more expensive binding, but it's significant larger and doesn't have the rule lines, making it a better fit for my uses.
I’ve had my eye on the Hosanna journaling Bible for a while. Hoping to get it for my birthday since I would like a bigger KJV for my everyday Bible cause my current KJV is pocket sized and smaller than my compact ESV😅
@@laurenmakesplans big is a little bit of a problem for me since I live in an RV, but on the website it says it’s 9x7, which I think would work. Are the pages thick?
As far as Bible pages go, they’re decent. They’re not as thick as premium Bible pages, but I do a lot of journaling and don’t have issues with bleed through.

I absolutely love both of them, but for my personal preferences, the Hosanna Revival one is my favorite! I’m so glad you found it helpful!
I particularly like the Holman KJV Study Bible. The Thompson Chain Reference Bible is good too and just got a revamp with the Nelson fonts.
