1983 GREYHOUND DERBY FINAL - IM SLIPPY

Barbara Tompkins trained Im Slippy for owner John Quinn who picked up £25,000 after his dog led all the way to win a thrilling race by a head from On Spec with Debbycot Lad only a neck further behind in 3rd. It was a second Derby triumph for Tompkins after John Silver's win in 1970.
