The Emerson Knives Sheepdog was the first flipper and bearing pivot knife produced by the brand, in both clip point or ( bowie ) and drop point. The action of the S35VN blade is very smooth and the lock up is rock solid. The usual G-10 handles scales have been replaced, on this particular loaner, with canvas micarta scales from @blades_n_such ( on IG.) The EKI Sheepdog also comes in a mini version.

This particular knife is used for cleaning out the area around lawn mower blades and weed-eaters, working on projects around the house, and for odd-jobs at work. It would feel like an injustice not using it for the “tougher tasks” ;)

Very nice 👌 Emerson collection 👌 I've seen a custom Emerson like yours with the swedge clip point; it had custom Desert Ironwood scales and it was spendy but worth it.
