Boondocks is very culture specific. It’s one of those ‘made by the culture, for the culture’ type works. I feel like a good portion of the humor already flies over the heads of those who aren’t black in America so I can’t imagine foreigners of another race understanding the context behind the topics it discussed.
I will always recommend Gravity Falls. I find it fun with a lot of puns and goofy moments. Futurama is also another top cartoon series I recommend. Those shows have never gotten old for me.

I think the translation was wrong. The interviewer said "Did you watch animations in Korea?" not "Did you see Korean animations?". As a Korean, I have watched all those animations too and everyone knew those were Japanese animations.

Yeah, Avatar is probably regarded as one of the best American made cartoons in television history. I'm also a little disappointed they didn't have at least one superhero show like Teen Titans, Justice League, Young Justice, X-Men etc. Superhero and fighting cartoons like those and Samurai Jack were a HUGE part of a lot of Americans' childhood, and they were actually tackled serious themes instead of being just being sexual and comedic satire.
Sehee is so cute and adorable, she is very funny with her curiousity and playful nature. She always makes me laugh and puts a smile on my face. I grew up watching *"Janggeum's Dream"* on Turkish television. I remember rushing to home to not miss it. I really recommend it, because it's so beautifully made and innocent. I'm really happy with my childhood. 🥰
Rick & Morty has so much more to it than what was shown here. It's such a clever show! I admit it took me like 5 episodes to understand what was so great about it, but now I love it so much I'm rewatching all seasons over & over again!
A lot of American animation is outsourced to Korea and other countries. It's cheaper for the studio. The American artists draw the scene, then send it to Korea or wherever to animate it frame by frame.
I highly highly highly recommend BoJack Horseman. It’s one of my favorite shows of all time, it hits a lot of philosophical and existential issues about life. Very good for people who like that sort of thing, but I’d say you can also enjoy it without thinking about that stuff as well.
