I used to pull the same size disk with a drag behind it with a 4230, it was all it wanted but it did it for 8 years with no problems......I was told the 4230 was rated at 100hp on the pto but when I had it in for service they hooked it up and pulled 114......no turbo. Just found you, great video..
Ah the 42 with the 42's, looked like it was doing a great job! Right there at the 6:40 mark I'm sure I saw gingerbreadman peeking out behind a tree there at the edge of the field. Those guys are so illusive!
Mike i think i saw the gingerbread man in the corner of the field watching you disk! As nice as your corn was this year thats a lot of good residue to put back in the ground. That tractor didnt even think a bout that disk.
I will keep an eye out for your Ginger Bread man down here in North Jersey Mike. But I've met that Snow Man before. He got a little bit to close to the cows and poof he was gone
I do have heat in the tractor. Its a small field that didn't take much time at all so rather then take everything off just to turn right around and put everything back on I just left things on and didn't turn on the heat
Its a harder gravely ground. You can see the wheels are up and not spinning so bringing them up more is not going to do anything. What I need is a heavier tillage tool designed to go through and break up the stalks better, I just don't have one and I'm using what I have
The good old disk really breaks up those cornstalks and mixes it into the soil. Those gingerbread men are fast and sneaky. Happy Holidays Mike
Thank you. Happy Holidays to you as well. I was pretty happy with the job the disk did
@@mikep7810 disk is a go to piece to tillage if in a hurry and does a pretty good job at it no matter what it is disking and conditions
Mike those ginger bread men are elusive ! Great video
Thank you Paul
Those Gingerbread men will sneak up on you every time..... That tractor/disk team appears to be a good team!!
The gingerbred man had company!!!It's was a little Grey santa! I saw them......
They are very sneaky for sure. On the gravely ground the 4250 handled the disc pretty good. You get into some of the other fields and it struggled
DISKING CRON STALKS IN THE SNOW I SEE MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR'S
Thank you Matt. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you too
Looks like the tractor does good with disk. See what does spring went you chill plow. You and your family have merry Christmas.
It did alright on the harder gravely ground. I used it down by the river and it worked harder

Thanks Richard. Those little gingerbread men are very illusive for sure
Another great vid! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Thank you Gene. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well
That disk does a great job
Thanks John. It did alright. Ideally I'd like to have a heavier tillage tool that breaks the stalks up better but I'm using what I got
Hello everyone mikep good vidéo
And good jobs in the field
Hello from Alsace in France
Thank you

Thanks Zeke. The 42 did alright in this field but down on the river flat fields it worked a lot harder
Enjoyed The Video
Thank you Steven
Jestem z Polski i od niedawna na moim gospodarstwie pojawił się 4250 z przednim napędem nie mogę się doczekać wiosny kiedy go będę testował
To świetne traktory
We've had the grinch went through local restaurant bar...😊
Hopefully he didn't steal all the Christmas decorations
Looks like the 42 handled the disk well

@@mikep7810 get the 7810
WHAT TYPE OF BENDING DO YOU USE FOR THE CATTLE?
We use straw for bedding
What kind of trees planted in field next door?
Mostly maples
"Nice Channel" !!!
Thank you. I appreciate it
i noticed you have a container for coffee/pop and odds and ends.where do you get an item like that
It was in the tractor when we bought it. I just assumed it was part of the cab from the 80s
I saw the ginger bread man down here in pa too
He is really fast to go through our farm then over the state border into PA
The 4250 doesn't seem to know its back there

@@mikep7810 I was wondering if it was the ground you were in your bottom ground or hills it might not like so much
👀🙄🐾👍🎄🎄
Thanks Jim

We were driving by the stacked up pile of wrapped bales and I told my son it looked like a whole army of snowman!
Don't you have heat in that Tractor, why are you all bundled up?
I do have heat in the tractor. Its a small field that didn't take much time at all so rather then take everything off just to turn right around and put everything back on I just left things on and didn't turn on the heat
🚜👌👍😁
Thanks Carlos
Are you finished with corn now
Not yet
Ya if u tried pulling it in plowed ground it would b different story. The lugging on the 466 engine is better than the 404 engine
Yeah I don't plan on using this on the disc all the time now. We only have 1 tractor with a 404 engine and I'd never put the disc on the 4040
💪👍
Thanks Doug
CHRISTMAS JOKES I SEE LOL
Getting into the holiday spirit

🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣 yeah but we knew that before I posted this video!!
Better follow the gingerbread man maybe he has a gift for you?
That's true. Maybe he has a 7810 or a new truck!
