    The creative possibilities with this effect are endless! There are so many cool locations that are enclosed before night time so it makes it hard to access these to shoot videos. Thank you for posting!

    Not exactly what I would say night, but it is surely a kind of style I would love to work with. It has a fiction feel in it. loved the idea behind. thnx

    So essentially you are color "correcting" it to night time with the lights. Pretty badass. I didn't really know this was possible.

      With weak ass spotlights on the windows from the outside

  • @atbattson
    @atbattson Місяць тому

    You should invert the alpha of the windows so the windows glow and not the frame and exterior wall around. This looks like odd exterior spot lights on the windows from the exterior/landscaping. I assume you were trying to make it look like lights in the rooms behind the windows where on?

    If you need something to look like Night, just SHOOT AT NIGHT! Day for night never looks as good and always has that post-processed look.

      Ryan Anthony so i geuss u like that high iso grain in ur shots? That really sucks monky balls, and using define or neat video wil make u lose details. If u want clean crisp shots day4night is an good option.

    • @maartencornelissen9828
      @maartencornelissen9828 7 років тому

      Ryan Anthony dude u ar an amateur.. i just seen ur footage its not so good als u might think ur self it is. 33 folowers thats what u have.. this channel does great things for poeple and the film quality is better.. sorry dude did not want to burst ur bubble.

    Hi Dear
    I really learn from you . you awesome .
    I have question : I have shooting with canon 7d mark II in the low light situation all time my video is noisy. I setup like iso 100 F1.4 and shutter speed 1/50 fps. So why still my video is too noisy?
    I don't undrestand what is the problem, camera or my 50mm f 1.4 canon lens?
    Thanks

    • @MilesDouglasGarrett
      @MilesDouglasGarrett 6 років тому

      I know this is a little late, but try using the C Log profile. That'll help capture more dynamic range, which may help. Also, sometimes you just have to add light to a scene to make it work better. No camera will perform perfectly, but adding in light will always help.

    Yet ANOTHER superb video tutorial!! I DO have ONE question though...
    WHAT IF the window (glass) arent "tinted" black and you could actually see the YELLOW-to-WHITE on the inside?
    Would you use the pen tool to create a mask for each window pane, add a color-overlay of a whiter yellow for brightness, add a glow to each and create a brighter effect? Would something like that work?
    **Do you have the project file available so I could try it? I'd even send it back if you wanted to do a part 2 to this video as a revised. version with "NON-Tinted" windows.

    • @CinecomCrew
      @CinecomCrew  7 років тому +1

      Thanks Jeremy! That would indeed be better, but more time consuming. Because the clips came from Videoblocks, I'm not sure we can share the project file.I thought about it after the tutorial, because normally we always share it with everyone.
