Had my cold brew maker for a good week bc I didn’t know how to make it. No instructions! Google didn’t help either. Thanks to you I just made my first batch! Thanks a bunch. Can’t wait til tomorrow 😊
Thanks for the instructions. Found my jars at the Goodwill today. Looked brand new. Of course I have to go online to find out how to use them. Thanks for the help.
Thanks for this review . I have the half gallon one but did not receive directions with it (I also purchased from Amazon ) Your tutorial was very informative and helpful .
I watched other videos that said to steep it on the counter instead of the fridge. It takes half the time and came out perfect. Tip: make sure the lid is on tight. I didn’t check and dropped mine on the floor and had a big mess to clean up!
County Line lids with handle are AMAZING! I own 4 or 5 of them, and I use a half gallon size mason jar for water in the fridge, and make my Cold Brew in them. Good video!
Use a regular mason jar lid on the brewing jar and use the spouted lid on the jar of brewed coffee, then you can open the spout and pour over your ice instead of having to remove the jar lid to pour out some concentrate.
What people commonly do not know, is cold brew should be made on the counter. When you put it in the fridge, you are slowing down the process by half, so it will take twice as long to make. Don't over complicate it. Keep it simple, just put it on the counter. 😊
I really like the idea and just started looking up cold brew. But 23$ Amazon has a 1gallon cold brew. Looks like one of those water filters. Same price and I'm wondering which is worth it. I'm thinking glass > plastic but I also drink ALOT of coffee
If you add first the coffee in the jar, then you put the filter, lastly the water, you can directly serve the cold brew without the mess in the lid. What I’m saying is do not put the coffee inside the filter.
I thought the directions say not to shake vigorously. My daughter has one and that’s what her direction say but it’s not the exact one, but I assume they’re all the same..
I would rather use an over ice K-Cup in my Keurig K supreme plus Smart! That's a nice idea if it made a quart or more from that much grounds! Good video

Im.glad you reviewed i ordered mine and i didn't come with instructions
Glad I could help
You could top off with water through the little spout if you didn't want to remove the lid (once the ground settle).
Carnation condensed milk Vietnamese sytle would be good. Half & half would make a creamier coffee as well. Chocolate syrup or caramel would finish.
☕
Thanks for watching
Is good for like 2 coffee of 8 ounces right

do you dilute the cold brew at all with water in your cup? Or is it supposed to be not cut with water in the cup?
yes you can add water, I added a little
Some drink it straight because they like it strong and others add one to one ratio to dilute.

Great tip!!!! thanks for sharing!!
You remove the grounds after it steeps.... this tip would create bitter coffee.
oh. a CONCENTRATE. is that why I can't sleep??
yep it needs a little water added
Climbing the walls, eh? 😱😲
Wen you make the brew leave it slightly open for 1 to 2 hours
The reason coffee is bitter when made in modern coffee makers is that they do not boil. When boiled on stove it has no bitter flavor
Good point I need to try that.

I've had this thing for 5 years and I still don't know how much coffee to use.
Try one cup and see how you like it. If it's too weak, try two cups. 😊

I totally agree! Thanks for watching and your Support!!!!
Do you have any Future Video Ideas??
@@JustADad How about coffee freshness and storage! Beans are one thing, but K-cups are tricky!
@@rgruenhaus Awesome!! thanks for the idea.
You are making iced coffee and not cold brew through the Keurig. Both are great.
Recipe
Too much faniggling... Just use one cup grinds and four cups water... KISS!!!
You got that right. 😮😱☕
