There is a certain inexplicable thrill that comes when two musicians notice a nice musical nuance or pattern, even if in the ambient music. It is such a simple emotion when experienced individually, but so beautifully magnified when someone else also shares and acknowledges it. All it needs is a moment and a nod. Nicely captured!
An excellent exhibition of the truth in a very clear feeling. Sanjay as a person whose musical penance is phenominal with all his humilty and simplicity certainly deserves such accolades. No other form of recognition will bring us more satisfaction than praising him. In a way we are also blessed to do that. Thanks.

You mentioned M.S Mami. She was a close personal family friend of ours since the late 1950's/early 1960's. We were living in Geneva at the time when Sadhashivan Mama and "Kalki" Kannan had come on a visit and were staying with us. We decided to take them on a trip to Interlaaken. On the way, as was customary in our family, my father would drive and ask that music be sung continuously every second that the car engine was running (basically non-stop!!)
After a series of songs (by her and others!), Mami immediately burst into Vandaadum Sholay Thanile, egging me to sing along with her!! Of all the songs in Harikambhoji, she chose this one from Kalki!! It is still mesmerizing, and brings out the true essence of this ragam so beautifully. I cannot but, to this very day, associate this song with snow-laden roads and ice-capped alps!
I recollect those days in Geneva. If I remember correctly, Smt MSS also taught you a few songs during her stay. At that time, I was too young and uninterested in CM, unfortunately!

Nice.. Its a beautifulragam. When we say about Pamalai, i remember about MMI singing this in his inimitable sytle. I dont remember him singing ant other harikamboji.
How sweet sir. Though I do not know music formally, I am a great fan of listenining. Most of my days where I drive a lot, long distances goes with your music. You still remain the same, simple, filled with full energy as I first saw you in Dishnet internet center in Abhiramapuram during 1999, 2000

Once I was sitting on the floor listening to the concert of a great musician .Next to me was another great musician on the floor. When the performer took brindavana saranga and played a very beautiful phrase, both of us simultaneously acknowledged it with an aha! I was happy to be sitting next to him ,now he saw me. That was great

And today was all the more special as you unravelled one by one so many sweet incidents stored in so many layers of your Memory Disc. What else can give better pleasure to you than sharing your happy moments with everyone of us! Thanx to the rise of Social Media usage in the context of Pandemic as it has clearly broken the shackles and barriers & reservations, whatsoever, between the artists and the Rasikaas. We all feel elated and absolutely feel every artist as one among each of our families and the immense joy expressed by the artists as ours too! For people like me, I shud say more than Kamboji, it's its sibling Chenjurutti that attracts us more Sir. 🙏

When I visualize about MS Amma and Sadasivan mama presence - it would have been like parvathi parmeswaran blessings at the divine event. One should born like you and lead a life like you by sharing happiness to everyone through your music. I know dasaradhar did puthrakameshti to get Lord Rama. I wish to understand from your parents what Thapas they did to get you as their son.
Harikamboji by leading artist is quite perceptible. The sukshma /subtle? sangathi prayogas are always heartening when they come out and affirm the expectations. This rich raga and MS AMMA (one of the exponents in the raga alapana ) witnessing - making a PERSONAL NOTE in your life is GOODNESS only. Leading vidwans seems to be following .....no wonder...SK..
