Clearly Eleanor had something more than just a mother and daughter connection, they had a bond that was more than just blood. It's so sad that she never got peace or closure after losing her daughter.

Denise trusted the wrong guy on that fateful day. Such a tragedy. The day that Denise disappeared Eleanor died as well! Her life is well documented after Denise's disappearance!

Yes you're right about that. She sadly never got over the death of Denise, even after the death of Bundy.

Indeed including his own family. Look at Rich Bundy now and look at the potentially great life he could have been living if it wasn't for his murderous brother's actions.

Thank You Carol for sharing and being brave! One question if I may: did you ever meet Eleanore Rose Naslund?

Such a beautiful young woman taken far too soon. Ted was an absolute monster. Always amazed how one individual can cause so much pain and suffering.

Carol, thank you. These pieces of footage are invaluable for us amateurs working to understand Bundy, maybe even find useful clues.

Eleanor Rose communicates to us through her personality all her sadness and despair, we are heartbroken that she can rest in peace with her daughter.

I think Ted Bundy had always seen himself as a worthless person since he was a child.

I agree with you. I think underneath his fake facade of "normality" and even beyond the cruelty of his actions, underneath all of that was a very insecure man, someone who perhaps was rejected as a child, which makes sense as never knew his father and was initially abandoned at birth by his mother. He also had a serious insecurity with women which I believe culminated in his relationship with Diane Edwards who regarded him as "pitifully weak". He then went on a killing spree I believe as some sort of pay back and attempt at control over the women he had little control over in his life.

@@Romulan2469Yes! Something very painful happened to him when he was a child, but he had never talked about it. When he was ditched by his lover, he lost all his pride. He started seeing himself as an undesirable person. He must have told himself, "If I'm a bad, then I'm gonna enjoy my life as a bad man. I will tell lies, I will cheat, I will steal, I will watch violent porn videos, and I will kill." I can guess how he killed his victims. He was therefore the most brutal serial killer in the world. He was more dangerous than Jack the Ripper.
