In this Cincinnati Reds midseason update, being the end of May, I talk about into the team's struggles & hope as I reflect on the first half of the 2024 season and discuss key player performances, including Elly De La Cruz and his improved plate discipline along with Jonathan India and ongoing challenges both offensively and defensively. Despite a tough start to the season, and especially in May, there's still hope for a turnaround as I look at the Reds' home and road records and their playoff hopes and potential hopeful postseason push. The Reds future if they can say healthy is very bright, and the baseball standings will only continue to get better if the Reds, who were the hottest team in baseball for a bit, build it up for this hopeful season.
