Found your channel because I just bought the Food for Curls pack and I've used it once...one time. I LOVE it!!!! The way my curls are defined...it's literally confidence in my hair that I have never had.
Hi ladies I did this yesterday. And you’re right I could use just the oil in cream. But my edges are very frizzy and dry so I tried the soulffle and it did frizz nor was it hard. I might be able to put the soulffle all over my hair

Where did the water bottle come from
Had to rewatch it had been a while, definitely a brand I would love to try.
Looking at the ingredients, I think the reason for the texture of the soufflé is due to the Irish Moss. We make Irish Moss to drink in Jamaica, and it's very gelatinous. Flaxseed oil/extract shouldn't be gelatinous by itself. Great video. I wish I saw this around Black Friday because these products are expensive.

M.A.D.CURLS No problem. You guys should try a DIY flaxseed gel. It has flaxseed oil in it, obviously, so it does stretch my curls when wet; but as long as I scrunch a little, my curls shrink for extreme curl definition. I still haven't found a gel that gives me better results (7th day hair). I use a French press to extract the gel, and it keeps for like two weeks in the fridge. I can use it with just a good leave in; or if a product isn't giving me the results I like when wet, I quickly add it on top, and I'm good.

When you want to pamper yourself and spend that little extra money, I recommend this brand. I certainly wouldn't buy it and share it with heavy handed people. It is much too lavish for that. I just watched this again for reference as I style my hair with these two stylers hahahahha. They’ve been sitting on my shelf for months after the first time I watched this video LOL. I put the oil in cream which was so light- too light. I’m patiently waiting for it to dry so I can add in the souffle just like ya’ll showed! It is such a difference on both of you after you add in the souffle!! I’m like woah 😍😍. Btw- I freakin’ love you two! One of my fave videos.

I love this series bc it can expose you to brands that you otherwise may not see. Two ?'s do you think that these products are worth the price tag? Also what happened to the la naturals video? Ms. Lorianne according to the website I don't think that you're supposed to rinse the deep treatment out.
nvrnakednails1 Hi! Yes, absolutely, that was our intent with starting this series, there are so many hidden gems for natural hair out there on the internet that people do not know about! This brand in particular is a luxurious or "gourmet" as they call it curl brand, and if your in the market to spend a little extra coin we believe it is absolutely worth the money. The proof is in the pudding and we consistently get amazing results. As far as the intense deep treatment goes I reached out to the brand to clarify its use and they said they recommend it mostly as a final step in a routine to repair and smooth dry ends. However, it does have a second use, to be used a wash out treatment, exactly how it's described in the video, put it in, leave it in for a few hours or over night and rinse out. It has multiple uses, it is just your preference how you'd like to use it. Lastly, to address your LA Naturals question, that video was done as part of a collaboration and the video was not what the brand was looking for. Tania 1219 Hello 👋🏽 and Welcome to the M.A.D.CURLS channel. That happens to be one of my favorite products from the Curlsmith line. I do not rinse it out. However, Per Curlsmith it is a versatile product and can be used both ways, as a wash out treatment masque or as a last step to a Wash and Go. Apply it to your hair and leave it in. I did but I realized I used too much. A little really goes a very long way. It's best to use on wet hair.

Jenluvsnailpolish That is so funny you should say that. We just searched our videos the other day to see exactly when that line became a thing. We started saying “first things first.... water” 💦 at the beginning of the year. This CurlSmith video was done last year 🤣 so we have evolved since then. 🤓🦁💕➰
Since there is a co wash, does that mean there is no need for a shampoo?
That is the cleanser in this line, so if you wanted to use the line on a wash day, you’d use their Cowash only, no need for a shampoo. 😊
How do you like this brand compared to deva curl?
MsCraftyCritter I believe both brands have their pros and cons. It also depends on what you are in the market for. Honestly, if you are result driven which most normal people are (except LoriAnne) Deva Curl is for you. If you are looking for gourmet haircare and have money to spoil yourself CURLSMITH will satisfy this need, as well as give you awesome results , but you will be paying a premium price. Deva is the OG of the natural haircare market. Yet, don’t fall asleep on the pricier newer brands. There is room for all in this market. If your hair has a distinct curl pattern to begin with, pretty much anything will work......just being honest. Thank you for watching us. 😊➰💕➿
