Hi would this lens be great for a new beauty UA-cam channel in your opinion? My wife would be using a Sony a6300 crop sensor camera!
This is one of the best lenses I own for video and really closeup photography. It does have minimal distortion and on the a6300 it works beautifully. It comes out close to what a 35mm would be on a crop sensor.

The Batis 25 is so weird indoors in low light
Mini Buns it all depends on your picture profile and color correction. CINE2, Cine4 or Slog-2 can be white balance to your choice. I’ve had good results after that.
This is such strange contrast in a wide lens
Mini Buns the ND Filter makes it a challenge especially in S Log 2. Others may like less contrast easily controlled in post. It was extremely bright this day and I wanted to test it combined
So this was a beautiful day to share blue skies and the Sony 25mm Batis F2. Extremely impressed how it held up in S-Log2 in the Sony A7III with a cheap variable ND filter. What do ya think 🤔?
excellent video! I'm currently looking t getting the Batis 25 over the Tamron 17-28 for traveling... Thanks for showing us S-Log recordings as well! love the colors!
I’m working on the 24mm F1.4 GM right now. Didn’t have as good of an experience with the S-Log2 setting. The sunlight seemed a bit harsher in 24mm with more purple that I had to adjust in post. Great for midrange shots with minimal hunting.
